When you wear glasses on a daily basis, you learn how few products are actually designed with glasses in mind. Even protective glasses may be limited to one or two "over-the-lens" options. Initially, with this design, I was just glad that it was possible to hold them in front of my glasses and still see clearly through both. But, I was thrilled when I discovered that they were small enough to work in a "under-the-lens" fashion instead. When I could put them on first and then put my glasses on over top of them and see perfectly fine. That really made them very convenient and I only wish the clouds in the sky had been so cooperative. Another thing which I wound up loving was the fact it was a 12-pack. I only needed 2 pair myself and considered the last-minute sale price to actually be reasonable for the likelihood of only using 2 of the 12. However, last minute, I took the rest to work with me and co-workers were extremely grateful for that. Some had forgotten theirs. Some had never been able to find any themselves. And even those who had found them, because of the sheer effort it had taken, were very appreciative that, even if they hadn't ultimately found any, there was still going to be some for them to have used. It really became a great and easily team outing. Something I'd learn the next day a company on another floor had also done because someone there had also bought a multi-pack to share with all of their co-workers. One of my co-workers, who had given his spares to some people at other stores that had helped him try to find them had remarked that he could easily have charged $20 each at that point for them. But, I agree with him and whoever else took care of their co-workers ... these are really the perfect types of sets to pick up and remember that it really doesn't take much to generate a lot of happiness. So, regardless of whatever size multi-pack you get (6, 12, 25, 50, etc etc), don't think of it as "paying for more than you need". Think instead of who might also enjoy the extras.

Ordered a pack of 25 for 19.99 and free same day shipping, in terms of the quantity, 25 lairs I ordered this amount because this was all that was available due to waiting until the last minute to order. I ordered them on 4/7 and they arrived at 3pm, 2 hours before the delivery window 5-10 PM! They worked great, the lenses were very dark and I was nervous they would be too dark, but the eclipse was viewed perfectly, pictured above (82%-held phone cam up to glasses for pic) which assured me they were very safe for my loved ones. They stayed on without a problem and fit my entire family ages 7 through adult. I like how they have the date of eclipse printed on them,, so we have kept them as keep sakes. Would buy again.

They look OK for solar eclipse glasses and the one for the cellphone camera is a nice size and covers 3 cameras on iPhone without a problem.

We were all excited for the solar eclipse, but I had forgotten to purchase glasses because... life. Honestly, the main reason I ordered these particular glasses was because of the next day shipping since we needed them quick. Also, because although I didn't need 12 pairs, I would have been paying the same for 4 or less with other companies, so my kids went to school with extras for friends that didn't have them. Also, these are AAS approved and that was a necessity. These glasses are extremely high quality. You put them on, and you can't see a THING... Unless you are looking at the sun. Which right away, told me I chose the right glasses. So, in my part of Pennsylvania, the day of the eclipse turned out to be an extremely cloudy day. I caught a glimpse of a partial eclipse once or twice, but for the most part, we got robbed, lol. The overcast day made the eclipse pretty underwhelming for us. However, we tested these glasses the sunny day before, and the sunny day (ironically) after the eclipse, and I can say with confidence that these glasses are legit. I can stare directly into the sun with absolutely no problem wearing these. Not staring into the sun, I'd have a problem because I couldn't see at all, lol. These were more than worth the price paid for them, even if Mother Nature wasn't cooperating.

Each viewer is individually wrapped in clear plastic, easy to open and reusable. So if you plan to pass them around at an eclipse (there's a dozen in the box I bought) no one will hesitate to accept them. And after use they can be repackaged for the next event, not stuffed in a drawer somewhere collecting dust. Strings to attach to the temples are packaged loose in the box. They're a nice touch, easily secured to the viewers through pre-punched holes, just tie a knot. You can let them hang from your neck when not in use. They are cardboard with plastic filters, so some care is required in use, if only for a single eclipse. Also included in the box (I hadn't noticed when I ordered) are two iPhone filters. Cool. For the price they are great. And they work, providing a clear image. Familiarize yourself with their use by observing the un-eclipsed sun. Included are safety notices, read them!

Sooooo cool!! The glasses are cardboard and come with elastic stay-on straps. What's excellent is the actual glasses themselves have the eclipse dates on them and they look so futuristic lol. I tested them in the midday sun and they seem perfect! Would definitely recommend!!

Perfect product, great price, and it is produced in Canada and imported by a German company. So it feels trustworthy. And it came with a free camera protection for taking photos as well.

Bought for the 2024 eclipse and these glasses were the real deal. I verified the manufacturer based on the info from the American Astronomical Society page for Suppliers of Safe Solar Viewers & Filters: https://eclipse.aas.org/eye-safety/viewers-filters The glasses did the job and allowed my kids and I to see the eclipse right up until totality, when it completely disappeared from view through the glasses - meaning there wasn't sufficient enough light. It was an ethereal experience to witness. During totality, I kept checking through the glasses every few seconds and once a dot could be seen we put the glasses back on. The frames were a thick paper with the filter material sandwiched between 2 layers of the paper, not just glued to one side (see 4th picture). While it is just thick paper, it was more than adequate for the purpose. I didn't rate the "Sturdiness" or "Durability" features on this review form because I'm not sure it's fair to the manufacturer or to someone reading this review. It's a reasonable thickness of paper, but it is just printed paper. I would give sturdiness a 5 for what I was expecting, but I wouldn't want someone to get the impression that you'll be able to keep these in a drawer to get banged on and they would somehow come out like new. The material you look though is not covered in any kind of protective film, so scratching it would render it useless. But, I wasn't expecting anything else. The glasses came individually wrapped, as described, in a larger, branded box. They're protected up until you remove them from the wrapper. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this manufacturer again.

NON USATE NIENT'ALTRO: rischiereste danni permanenti alla vista. Comprate 12 occhialini sicuri per pochi euro e regalateli ad amici e parenti. Salverete loro la vista. Sono dotati anche di cordino nero elastico e di due schermi tondi per gli obiettivi. Dopo l'uso riponeteli accuratamente nella bustina e serbateli per le prossime occasioni, ad esempio per l'eclissi del 2027. Io ho ancora quelli del 1999! Il miglior acquisto che possiate fare OGGI.
