This infrared thermometer feels solid and well made, and it’s been very straightforward to use. It’s a simple point-and-shoot design, and the wide temperature range makes it useful for checking temperatures of various things around the house. I’ve been using it on things like radiators, windows, walls and household appliances, and the readings have been consistently reliable. The laser pointer makes it useful to be able to repeat readings from the exact same spot and I usually take a few readings from the same surface and average them, and the results have been both accurate and repeatable. The option to select different material modes is a nice touch and helps improve accuracy. The display is clear and easy to read, and I really like that it shows the previous reading as well as the current one, which makes quick comparisons easy. Batteries are included, which is always appreciated. Overall, this is a dependable, well-designed infrared thermometer that does exactly what it should. It’s simple enough for casual use, but accurate enough to feel the results are fairly reliable. A very solid bit of kit from Bosch.

Works well. Not what I was after though, should have read the spec better, I thought it was a camera not a laser type. Can’t confirm its accuracy but it reads close to what my oven does.
