This is a very good product. The taste is bearable, and so is the smell. I usually place a dropperful under my tongue, hold it for about 30 seconds before swallowing, and follow up with a sip of whatever I am drinking. It kicks in very quickly, and the energy and focus last for several hours. The bottle is a good size and has lasted me a couple of months.

I purchased this so I could have a more efficient means of receiving my B-Vitamins. I did not take these for the purposes of evening out a deficiency, but because I exercise after work, and I'd rather not take a stimulant like coffee if I need to retire in 4h. This is a good middle-ground, as I've noticed that so long as I still give myself about four hours between dose and retire, it doesn't affect my sleep patterns. -Flavor- It has the standard B-vitamin flavor, nothing special there. Citrus, or citrus-adjacent flavors. A bit sweet, mildly acidic but nothing concerning. -Effectiveness- Speed of effect is difficult to judge in a reliable way. I would say about 20m to full effect, but this depends on your level of activity and caffeine consumption. If you take it before stretching, or before your warm-up, it should take effect by the time you hit your main workout. I've noticed no significant difference between sub-lingual and swallowing the liquid directly. I've also not noticed a substantial difference between .5ml and 1ml doses. Duration of effect. Also hard to judge. Maybe 2-3 hours total, with the peak coming fairly early. I haven't tried this on a long hike yet, so I can't confirm long-term energy production. Intensity of effect is mild, but measurable. All my runs, for example, are better with the B-Complex, by about 30s over three miles, especially if I'm running on an empty stomach. It seems to aid resistance training as well, making the sets more comfortable to start and finish, rather than improving performance. -Conclusion- I believe this is a useful supplement for my purposes. I don't take it every day, so I cannot comment on its usefulness for a daily dietary supplement, but for improving workout performance, it seems to work quite well. That said, I've also tried the more expensive "Zoomavit Vitamin B Complex" and cannot tell the difference between that supplement and this one. Either are fine for my purposes - it's a much more effective delivery vehicle for the B-Vitamins than the alternatives.

I learned from my big brother that taking Metformin (a common drug for pre-diabetics) can lower natural vitamin B levels. Symptoms can include lethargy, dry skin, bleeding gums, and some digestive symptoms as well. The first 3 affected me and came on over time with Metformin use. I tried to take Vitamin B supplements in tablet form and they make me nauseous. Many multivitamins that contain vitamin B upset my stomach. So pill form isn't a good solution for me. My brother suggested this sublingual vitamin B. I wasn't aware it could be taken in sublingual form. I was skeptical but I tried his when I was visiting. To my surprise I had no stomach upset when I swallowed what was left in my mouth. I was very pleased at this outcome and ordered this Nature's Bounty sublingual Vitamin B complex. I've been taking it for several months and. I noticed an increase in my available energy, reduced gum bleeding and my skin is less dry seeming (but it's been a frigid winter in New England, so dry skin is hard to avoid). I first starting noticing changes in about a week. Another plus is the relatively pleasant taste. A little bit bitter but not in an objectionable way to me. I'll update again if I notice more changes or something new. So far this is the first Vitamin B supplement I'm able to take comfortably and without stomach upset. That I've seen noticeable improvement makes this a 5 star supplement for me. UPDATE: April 10, 2017: It's now 3+ years on and I'm still just as pleased. Only one problem - I got a package of leaky bottles in one order. After those no more problems and still feeling good.

As usual nature’s bounty did not disappoint when I purchased this vitamin B. The price is excellent I have found it to be comparable to other vitamin B’s and yet of a higher quality. The importance to me in purchasing this product is that it was a sublingual vitamin B. Many people do not realize when purchasing vitamin B that vitamin B is not easily absorbed into the system when it has to pass through your digestive system. This is why you often find that when you take vitamin B supplements your urine is yellow in colour. This is a poor indication of the absorption of the vitamin B supplement which you have taken. Taking vitamin B sublingually is therefore the best option as this means that is absorbed under your tongue rather than having to go through your digestive system and risk not being absorbed. Since I have been taking this vitamin B, I have noticed that I have no yellow urine meaning that it is being well absorbed into my body. I have also noticed when I use this vitamin B supplements that my energy levels are high, I often even take it when I have challenging days ahead of me just to get through to the day. It contains high amounts of the recommended daily allowances of vitamin B and that means that I no longer have to go for vitamin B injections. I would highly recommend this vitamin B supplement to anybody out there who’s interested in purchasing it.

I've been taking this product for several years. I had read that supplementation of B Vitamins are important (especially because I am a long-time Vegetarian), and that a B Complex in sublingual form is more readily absorbed. I first tried this brand because it was frequently 'buy one get another free' in my local pharmacy, but this Amazon deal works out to be about the same price. I have Fibromyalgia and Hypothyroidism, so fatigue is a major issue for me. I definitely notice a difference in my overall sense of wellness when I take this regularly. I've mostly eliminated caffeine from my daily diet, so when I feel like I'm dragging I take this and it gives me a subtle yet noticeable boost. I also take it anytime I'm feeling drained, ill or overtired - any time my body feels compromised, but this is in addition to taking it once or twice a day preventatively. I keep it on the counter right next to my water cooler so I'm reminded to take it often. I don't always remember to reorder before I run out and I really notice how well it works when I've run out for a week or so; I feel noticeably weaker or more tired which actually reminds me to reorder. The taste is fine, I don't enjoy the taste per say, but it's not at all offensive either, it's not bitter and does not have that "vitamin taste" you might expect. I leave it under my tongue as long as possible to milk every bit of nutrient I can before swallowing it, although I think only 30 seconds is required. My only complaint is that it gets a little sloppy with the dropper; it often drips before I can get the dropper to my mouth and it's a bright red slightly sticky liquid so on more than one occasion I've had to change my shirt if it drips on me. So I'm just careful with it, it's not a deal breaker that's for sure. I'm disabled and on an extremely tight budget and this is one item I purchase regularly no matter what because I most definitely feel better when taking it.
