Fun novelty desk ornament. Nice for distractions during a long phone call, or when thinking of your next email come- back. Not breakable, which is nice if you have cats, kids, or guests. Watching this softly swish side to side makes me feel like a pirate captain in a story sea.

It blew up on my desk
While the build quality was good at first I had it on my desk and during the day when the sun shone in my window I noticed air bubbles begin to appear on the inside. Soon after in about a week I noticed leaking. Then I came back to my desk to find it had popped open and the liquid inside had almost super heated. I’m sure for 90% of people this won’t be an issues but I guess just keep it out of the sun.

It looks great and you can keep it at home for decoration. But not at all recommended for car dashboard, as due to heat the transparent liquid turns white.
