I use this as a mixer and a phantom power supply when twitch streaming. I use this with the MXL990 large diaphram condenser microphone. When this is moved as a mixer and not a USB audio interface. When used with the USB drive there is a lot of noise on the line, though can be done when in a pinch. When this is not used with the USB interface this is a really good mixer and has a decent vocal preamp for the price along with phantom power. If the USB connection did not introduce noise I would award this 5 stars.

Well packaged and robustly made usb mixer, No software needed and recognised by my pc straight away. I use Audacity as my DAW and it works fine with it. I would have awarded 5 stars but the user manual assumes that the the new user is fully aware and experienced in recording techniques and jargon " ie a novice" Like all things one has to play around with it to understand it. One would have hoped there would have been a section titled " recording your first tracks". That said I am very impressed with this so far
