Great toy if your kid has any kind of imagination. Yes the initial toy reveal happens only once, but with a little bit of imagination it can be used again and again. My son loved pretending he was a mad scientist in his lab and with the refill pack providing more mist he was playing for hours.

My son insisted on having this for his birthday. Parents don’t be pressured by your kids to pay this obscene amount for something utterly pointless. Literally add a few powders and liquids together, a bit of smoke and that’s it toy comes out and it’s over. Plus it takes four AA batteries which are not supplied when you buy. I don’t normally have a problem with this but when you’ve paid nearly sixty pound for dust and a basic shark toy it just adds to the expense. Spend the money elsewhere on something that can be enjoyed. I swear down my son has not looked at the shark toy to play with since he’s had it. I could have bought something much more exciting and entertaining. Plus the hard plastic waste you get left over with is a nightmare to get rid of and is just wasteful. Wouldn’t even give this a star.

My 4 and 2 year old love this. The first time was fun and scary for them and then they spent hours resetting it and doing it again with other toys. You will need to buy the restock item but just for the liquid that creates steam. But I do wonder if you can just use water? I’m not sure I would of spent 80 quid on this but its discounted to 30 and that’s incredibly worth it. Highly recommend!

When paying £80 for a toy you expect it to work however the item was clearly faulty. The smoke/mist part did not work and it kept making the same sounds over and over. Unfortunately as we opened it and did it with our son we couldn’t send it back but I wouldn’t waste your money.

My boys loved this. They followed the instructions to release the toy, really excited & the smoke was a great effect. I feel this was good value for money compared to the new beast lab - would recommend

My son (8) saw this on TV and wanted it from Santa. Yes it’s a bit expensive but it’s so cool! Lights, sounds even smoke! It’s a nice thing to sit and do together my other much older children were watching my youngest and they thought it was pretty awesome too. I have had to buy a refil for it which comes with 2 more experiments and the smoke liquid which is supposed to last a while. It’s something a bit different and a change from Lego! I think the reason it’s so expensive because it’s a large piece of kit that is more than just a figure. If anyone is wondering how to get the green liquid back I found it on YouTube it’s just a press of a button.

I got this for my 12 year old son to give him something that wasn’t screen related & oh my, it did not disappoint! He has used it all day. You can reset & go through all the motions over & over again. It looks amazing. It really is worth the money. I highly recommend this toy

I know there have been some mixed reviews for this, but luckily we have enjoyed it with no issues. I do supervise my child while using it to make sure he is using it correctly. This is mainly to preserve the life of it. If used correctly I feel it will last longer. The only quirk to it is the the step to refill the liquid in the dome. It takes a little bit to get it to start flowing and to fill up all the way. So if you have issues with it you may have to hold the button down an additional time or two. But eventually it does fill back up. Overall it was easy enough to use and lots of fun! Can be a little messy as far as cleanup goes but nothing crazy.

I enjoyed this almost as much as the kids did. And you can reuse it! Kids still play with it even after the goo was drained. It still makes sounds and is just a super cool toy. The Beast also makes sounds and lights up. Worth it :) kids are only little for so long, this brought a lot of joy to our Christmas.
