Awesome compact torque wrench to add to your collection
this little torque wrench is awesome! I have several large torque wrenches and sometimes it’s hard to get them into the places that I need to actually use them. I bought this one specifically for my Jeep to help me install seat jackers and it was the perfect length with the right amount of torque that I needed at 35 foot pounds. Super easy to dial up and lock in. I like that the red collar piece near the dial actually clicks in and locks it so it doesn’t slip and change your torque without you realizing it. Even if you have other torque, wrenches I’d highly recommend this one just for its compact size and the price was great. a real value and it includes a nice case to keep it protected.

It's actually pretty good
I'm a torque wrench junkie. I have torque wrenches from Central Tools, Proto, KD Tools, Armstrong, Precision Instruments, among others. All of my other torque wrenches, aside from this one, are made in USA. Actually I have a Gearwrench torque wrench that's made in China after Apex Tools moved their torque wrench production to China. I believe that was JS Technologies in Georgia, which was owned by Danaher Tool Group. Danaher merged with Cooper Tools, which became Apex. Apex was acquired by Bain Capital, which of course, being a good American company, sought to cut costs at all levels. Hence all US manufacturing (apart from government contract work) was moved to Asian countries. But I digress..... Sorry for the tangent. I got this torque wrench because when I'm changing the oil I have very little clearance to access the drain pan bolt. For reasons I don't fully understand, American tool companies make smaller torque wrenches (12 to 14 inches long) only for inch/pounds scales, which only go up to about 20 ft/lbs. My drain pan bolt needs 30 ft/lbs. So if I wanted a smaller torque wrench that could achieve 30 ft/lbs, the smallest American brand torque wrench I could get would be 18 inches long. This is too long. I can't even get it to click before it hits the ground or the bottom of my car. My old KD Tools torque wrench (made by JS Technologies I believe) was 5-75 ft/lbs and only 12 inches long and that's what I used until it finally broke. This was the only torque wrench I could find with a good ft/lbs torque range at 12 inches long. I do have a German made Gedore torque wrench that's about 13 inches long, and it's ok, but it doesn't have quick release and is only in newton meters (yes conversion to ft/lbs is easy....but still). And this little guy is great. It's accurate out of the box, it's small enough that I can torque the drain pan bolt with only a few swings, the quick release allows me to easily remove the socket with greasy hands. It seems fairly solid, although not snap on solid. It works. Bottom line. I mean it's a made in China torque wrench. But so are the Gearwrench. To be fair, most modestly priced quality torque wrenches are made in Taiwan, such as the Harbor Freight and the tool store brands like Cobalt, Harbor Freight, Menards, and others. I still prefer the USA made torque wrenches like Central Tools, CDI (owned by Snap On), Precision Instruments, Sturdevant Richmont (now owned by Snap On I think). But none of those guys made the size I needed. Anyways, recommend it, good stuff, great price.

Good buy, works great.
Nice little tool. Good for lower torqued bolts. It worked very well. Nice addition to my collection.

Easy to adjust and the quality seems good
I needed a smaller torque wrench for my motorcycle and this worked much better. I have a bigger torque wrench for automotive use and it's too long and cumbersome to use around the bike and it doesn't go as low for the settings. This is compact and easier to use for smaller applications like a motorcycle. It feels solid and adjusting the torque is super easy and the number markings are clear.

Great starter torque wrench
I’ve been using this 3/8-Inch Drive Click Torque Wrench (5–45 ft-lb / 6.8–61 Nm) for car maintenance, and overall it’s a very solid tool for the price. Accuracy & Readability: The dual-range scale is clear, high-contrast, and easy to read, even in less-than-ideal lighting. Torque adjustments are precise, and knowing it’s calibrated to around a ±3% error after extensive testing gives me confidence when tightening critical fasteners. For routine maintenance, it’s been spot-on. Safe & Reliable Operation: The click is distinct and easy to feel and hear, which makes it hard to over-torque by accident. I also appreciate the bidirectional ratchet head—it works both clockwise and counterclockwise, which adds versatility depending on the job. Build Quality: The wrench feels sturdy and well-made. The Cr-V steel body and chromium molybdenum 72-tooth ratchet head give it a durable, professional feel. The knurled handle is comfortable, non-slip, and easy on the hands, even during longer jobs. Torque setting is quick and simple with the pull-down locking knob, which locks securely in place once set. Storage & Use Cases: It comes with a nice, sturdy plastic storage case that keeps everything protected and organized. I’ve used this on automotive work (mostly fill and drain plugs), and it handles it well. One Downside: The only real negative I’ve noticed is that the paint comes off very easily. When you’re rolling around on your back under the car during fluid changes, with oil and other fluids inevitably getting everywhere, the finish starts to wear pretty quickly. It’s purely cosmetic and doesn’t affect performance, but it’s worth noting. Bottom Line: Despite the paint durability issue, this torque wrench delivers excellent accuracy, solid construction, and user-friendly features at a great value. If you want a reliable click torque wrench for home garage work, this one is a strong choice.

Fantastic Wrench
Fantastic little torque wrench! I was extremely impressed with the quality of it. Feels great in the hand, the handle lock works really well. The dark color makes it really easy to read the setting numbers. The quality is way better than what you would expect at this price point! Is just as nice if not better than my other more expensive wrenches.

Not enough torque range
Too small and range of 10-100 would be good for general use
