Works great with garage band to eliminate overdub

An excellent product overall, too bad that you must have the necessary extra things to get everything out of it, like paying either for a membership or buying the full versions of whatever amp program you are planing on using + extra speakers to connect directly into the IRig, noise latency will be horrible if you plan on using Monitor speakers, wireless speakers, or even speakers that are directly connected to your PC, gotta get some that can be connected directly into the IRig, otherwise you’re stuck playing with headphones on.

I completely understand why this is an often-returned item. It can be very frustrating to get working. It really isn’t quite the plug and play piece it should be. For a few hours, I just thought it was defective—it wasn’t, but it took a good bit of patience to figure out.That said, once I got it working, it became worthwhile to use. The sound quality is good, the latency is basically not noticeable at all and the Loopback+ feature (the main reason I bought it) is great for recording video of yourself playing with processed audio through AmpliTube/ToneX.I was very aggravated initially but I’m glad I took the time to figure it out. It’s definitely a step up from the iRig 2 which I had before.

Funciona bien

Constantly has issues connecting properly to the iPad, even with monitoring turned on. On top of that, it worked for about two weeks and then completely stopped functioning. This device is trash. Spend your money on a different guitar/audio interface. Do not buy anything from iRig.

Photo shows the condition it came in. Out of the box dirty and scuffed. It works as intended and as I needed. I’m connecting my electric guitar in, out to the input of my pedalboard, and connecting to my iphone. The connection to my iphone is what powers the device. It does not provide bypass, so if the device is not powered it will not pass the sound. If I want to play my guitar without connecting the iRig to my iPhone then I have to reconnect my guitar to my pedalboard. The 1/4 plug connections in the iRig is not very good quality. Any slight movement of it (it’s connected to my guitar and I tend to move around) it will cause static in the sound and is very annoying. So for now I use it only on a must need basis. It is a great concept with a poor execution.

Great quality

I was bit worried before i got this. It has worked out fantastic. I was almost pulling my hair out getting Amplitube 5 SE and Tonex SE. I thought my purchase wasnt unlocking anything different than the free version. Beside the search gear just below tonex on top right make sure it is a file with a tick. I had accidentally changed it to a file symbol with and tick and an x so it was showing me tons of locked things you dont get and was making the hiss you get on free version. But alas its working great all my amps tons of pedals and ive used tonex se before its great i haven't even tried it yet. The sounds on this are amazing.Ive just realised the usb c to usb c cable seems a bit hit and miss. The software is great i dont want to return this now but not pleased decent usb c cables arent cheap. Will try my ipad lead to see.

Perfecto al conectarlo a controladora xdj rx2, es cierto que los primeros 2 ó 3 segundos se escucha metalico o interferencia , cuando está conectado al móvil grabando el audio de la controladora xdj , pero después se ve el video y el resultado es muy profesional . Yo utilizo para grabar mis sesiones samsung galaxy note ultra s 22, va genial

I found it a bit fidgety to get it to output sound, had to play with output settings and amp selection a lot before doing can't through my ipad,Once you have it working, you can play with any amp or effect pedal combo. Very cool.

Simplemente perfecto, carece un poco de gain en la entrada, pero está excelente, pero tomen sus precauciones si necesitan este o el otro que es más económico, no sirven para lo mismo 😥 el USB es tal cual para usarla con programas de pedales y efectos, pero este no sirve para eso, es más para stream o de interfaz o de grabación, como yo lo uso en mi día a día
