This keyboard is a solid little keyboard. It’s very well built and has a satisfying feel and noise while typing. I really like how easy it is to switch between different computers. I have it set to use both my desktop PC and my MacBook Air when I dock it on my desk. It knows which is which and changes the keyboard layout accordingly. Everything just works. The battery life is excellent and it charges up really quickly over usb c. The Logitech Options app is really easy to use with everything laid out in such a way to just make sense. Also; the back lighting is simple but still nice. Ok onto my complaints. First I wish the key caps were a better material. They get glossy really quick from the slightly dirtiest fingers. I dunno if that’s due to the dark grey colour or the material itself. But for the price it should have better key caps. Second; I wish this thing had full rgb backlighting. The white is nice; but full colour would be better. Ok that’s it. So overall this is a great desktop keyboard that you could also take with you if you wanted to use your laptop or iPad on the go with it. It’s great for multi device use and the typing experience is really nice!! If you’re coming from the keyboard that came with your Mac or PC… or want something small and portable; this is definitely for you!

My crappy picture doesn't make it justice... this is a fantastic keyboard! The tactile keys feel amazing to type on and the Brown switches ensure it's not too loud. Great colour combination and although is made of many plastic components, it is very sturdy. The low profile is great for ergonomics, and the logitech functionality for pairing and switching devices is awesome. Plus made of 70% recycled materials is a bonus. It's expensive yea.. but imo is worth the money so far. I love it!

Really want to like this as well, but minor quirks in the long run become major quirks, even more so when they are things that can easily be resolved through firmware updates. The major one is that the backlight is controlled by sensors, which is cool, but not when they are automatically turning off the light after a few seconds without sensing anything. This causes the experience of using the keyboard in dark environments rather tedious because you need to wave near the sensors for the light to come up before hand placement or before looking up a key; this becomes more problematic when you deal with multiple languages and many different symbols. Unfortunately, the Logitech team has done nothing to resolve this, which could be solved through a firmware update and allow users to either disable the backlight sensors or apply a timeout effect that can simply be set to 0 for permanent. The other issue with this is the keys remapping. The F8 snippet tool sets a different code than the standard PrintScr key code; this is problematic for systems other than Windows that require this key for instance the Magic SysReq key on Linux to invoke special serial commands. A simple key remapping function on the firmware would also enhance this so that the users can change the keys accordingly. Since these are all software issues for which the hardware relies on, I cannot give it beyond 2 stars, though if Logitech ups their software game, I'll be happy to re-review this.

If you need a keyboard that fits in a crowded desktop or you just like a clean and neat desk looks, and if you work with applications that require precision on what you type, coding, CAD, the feel and precision of a mechanical keyboard is what you need. Love it. I've heard it's great for games too, but I don't play games at all, so I can't tell, but I bet durability required for games is similar to software coding, tons of strokes per minute. Games are certainly more rough, due to adrenaline, that can be hard on a keyboard. Not my thing, I need precision, and compact format.
