Best present you could buy for your back, shoulders and neck.
So let's get the bad out of the way first... Due to a warehouse mistake, my desk turned up without the big metal feet. Weird, since with a little thought they could have all fit in a slightly larger box... Maybe it was a weight restriction or something. It was sorted out pretty quickly by contacting the seller through Amazon. I also contacted them in the UK office who also were very helpful. Just make sure you have 2 boxes when they deliver. On to the rest. This thing is heavy. And Sturdy. Although I managed to build it solo ( average height and strength man ), it would be better and easier accomplished if you had help. Read the instructions VERY carefully. IT will save you missing out little details, then having to take it apart and redo it again correctly. Not saying I did that. Oh no. Definitely not me. I pared this with a 3rd party desk top because they had the colour and size I wanted. It complicated things a little because it wasn't pre-drilled of course, but anyone with a little DIY knowledge can overcome that. In use, it it awesome. I used to spend about 10-12 hours a day sitting for work / leisure, and now this is flipped on its head. I will stand for most of the day, with occasional short sitting breaks. When in a lower position for sitting, the desk is very stable, no perceivable wobble and feels secure. When extended for standing ( I have the control set to 105cm ) it still feels secure and stable, but there is a more noticeable give if you lean on it. For example, when I am typing quickly on my work PC, I get a little wobble of my monitor which doesn't happen with the desk in the seating position. This is likely due mostly to the fact that the monitor stand isn't really all that good and can be made to wobble with a very gentle touch. If it got to the point of really bothering me I would get an arm stand for it. The motion of the desk when changing height is smooth and feels controlled. There is associated noise of course, but not much and since changing position takes only a few seconds, it doesn't distract or annoy. That's about all I can cover in this review. I guess the long term reliability will be interesting, but if I haven't updated this review, then it is still going strong. Standing really is better for your back, neck and shoulders than sitting. Within a week I am already feeling the benefit. Though my feet complain after a few hours... That's when I sit for a little while. Expensive, but what price do you put on your health...

Excellent quality and ideal for home build desks
I just love this Flexispot lifting frame. I decided to build a sit stand desk for home working and used this frame combines with a custom piece of oak from worktop express. Despite a large 4 cm thick piece of oak and two monitors sitting on top of this frame it moves smoothly, quickly and almost silently. The memory functions and in built timer work well and the anti-collision device triggers when necessary to stop the movement. The build is really robust and looks like it will last for many years. When in the fully lifted position the desk remains stable and does not wobble around like some I have used. I used threaded insert nuts in the wooden desktop and matching brass bolts and it went together beautifully although if you use these instead of the supplied screws you do need to be precise with positioning because there is a small amount of tolerance around each bolt. All in all a very good buy.

Amazing for the money - I used to think I couldn't afford an awesome sit stand frame. 0 Complaints.
I'm using this frame with an Ikea kitchen top with is 180cm x 63.5cm. I'm 6.2ft tall and sit or stand its perfect, solid as a rock, small amount of wobble if I literally lean on the desk when standing. The motor is quiet and fast, the control button module is modern and looks suave and expensive. Very easy to set your favourite heights so you can adjust to them exactly with 1 press. I assembled it myself which was very easy. Its extremely heavy so it was hard to pull up once assembled if you are differently abled or smaller is stature you will need some assistance.

Nice quality standing desk frame
A first time user of a stand up desk having started to get back pain whilst sitting in my home office, I did my research and picked this Dual Motor frame for my existing desk top. My first impressions were picking up the boxes, one of was quite heavy which is a testament the steel construction. I'm quite a perfectionist when it comes to accepting items, especially when there's an expense associated but I'm happy to report that this desk doesn't disappoint and it ticks all my boxes. The item requires assembly, in which the instructions were easy to follow. I was able to do it myself in around 20 minutes but I would recommend getting another person to help if you need to position the desk on the other side of the room from where your building it up as it can be huge. I don't have the heaviest items on my desk, but with a couple of monitors and a few peripherals along with a 160cm x 72cm office table top, it seems to be coping incredibly well and is quick to rise and lower. I've had no issues setting up a height position or setting up a long-time sitting reminder (which is essentially just a countdown that switches whenever you're working on items. As for anti-collision, I've tested this but not felt the need to adjust the sensitivity yet as it's working fine for me. In summary, happy with the purchase and I would purchase the same item again if given the choice.

Overall happy with purchase
I chose to buy this desk as a future investment as: - the width adjust-ability should allow me to reduce and expand long term if I move houses. - the desk is generic and allows table tops to be exchanged (if I move and want to change the style) - I'm working at home full time and therefore wanted an ergonomic option of alternating between sitting and standing (General reviews suggest people are more likely to use this feature on an automated height adjusting desk than a manual due to laziness). I also chose this particular flexispot as: - I preferred the design of the "pyramid" designed legs. Supposedly this allows for greater height adjustment and more sturdiness. - can carry a load significantly above the weight of my monitor and computer tower - Comes with an anti collision feature to stop the desk if colliding with anything Desk setup was pretty straight forward with easy enough instructions. However the real pain was having to line up and pre-drill 16 holes on the table top. Note, I think if you opt for a flexispot table top it will come with pre-drilled holes, however instead I opted to buy the table top from Ikea (Gerton) who have a wider range and are generally cheaper. I don't regret the decision, it was just a bit of hassle. However, with this newly developed skill, I attached an extension cord to the underside of the table and used the table brackets to aid in cable management. Really useful and the slick absent cabling really gives the table a pro look (especially more noticeable when you have it in the up position). Up and down motion is fairly quick and smooth. no problems here. However, I have an issue with the sensitivity of the anti collision feature. the sensitivity can be set to 1 of 3 settings. The first 2 were too sensitive to even allow it to fully ascend / descend. I tried lifting and relaxing each leg to ensure that they not at an angle, I also checked my table to see if it was straight and parallel. Table seemed fined and has metal bars fitted internally to prevent warping. The 3rd sensitivity setting allowed for ascending and descending, however I haven't really dared to see if it stops on collision as I don't want to risk damage. After all of the hassle of assembling and drilling holes I couldn't be bothered to chase this up with the supplier to troubleshoot especially if it meant having to return it. Overall, I'm happy with the desk but if i had to buy a gain would opt for a cheaper model without the anti-collision feature as it doesn't look like all of the kinks have been worked out. Also, full disclosure, I was prompted to leave this review as flexispot offer an upgraded one year warranty and 10% off another unit for leaving an unbiased review.

Phenomenal! Do not double take or shy away!
This product has truly worked wonders for my posture and general fatigue/strength in my back! The availability to switch between sitting and standing whilst working 8-12 hours a day behind a monitor is night and day different! The desk is extremely sturdy and I would and have recommended this desk to all friends, family and colleagues! This desk was bought for the home office, I am trying to convince the boss to get one for work ;)

Brilliant addition to home office
Three weeks in and so far so good. It arrived in a smaller box than I was expecting but everything was well packed. Instructions to build were clear. On my own, it took me maybe 20 mins before tea and another 20 mins after. It was simple to put together. Things to consider! I was planning to use an worktop as the desktop which would give me a nice wide work surface. The feet for this desk have a depth of 80cm, the 63cm worktop would be too short and create a gap at the back of the desk. I've included a photo showing this with my current worktop. The reset for the desk is to lower itself to the lowest point of 60cm, this means I couldn't use a wider desk which also has drawers underneath. The drawers would interfere with any potential resets in the future. Thankfully I didn't order any worktop or specific drawers yet to go with my the frame. I'm currently using my old Ikea work top which is only 120x60. I originally planned for a 180x63 worktop but I think a 140x80 would better suit my own workspace (considering above points). The standing frame has been brilliant so far, its smooth in transition and fairly quiet. Wish I had bought one sooner.

Sturdy and good value
Took a bit of work to assemble, but the instructions are clear enough. I've temporarily topped with a cheap desktop from Ikea and it works very well. I'll eventually replace that desktop with something sturdier, but for the moment this is fine.

Julien

Rapporto qualita' prezzo eccezionale

Optisch macht er auch richtig was her.
