Dahle 975 replacement knife head (suitable for Dahle paper cutter 500/507/508 - old models)

Has this blade kindly sent to me from Amazon due to a problem with a previous order/product and this blade is absolutely fantastic, basically I already had this trimmer and my blade after around 7 years of good use started to go a little blunt, I was browsing around to purchase a replacement blade but came across the Swordfish edge 320 trimmer, which wasn't much more expensive than the blade replacement (bare in mind it was reduced from 40 something to 23 pounds), and with all the fantastic reviews it had I thought I'd go for it and get a brand new trimmer for the price however I ended up having a few problems with it (which Amazon were amazing and so fast at sorting out), basically the new trimmer I went for was great for cutting but accuracy was terrible, the plastic guide that holds down the paper didn't match up to where the blade cut, which caused problems when it come to accuracy on the trimmer, of which Amazon sent me two and both of those trimmers has exactly the same problem, so was obviously down to poor manufacturing, the blade cut fantastic but the accuracy was terrible so in the end I opted for a replacement blade for my Dahle trimmer that I had already, with the blade needing a replacement and this blade sorted all my problems straight away, it's as good as new and I should have just opted for this in the first place, rather than going for a new trimmer which wasn't even half as good as the one I already had (you can see my review on this with a photo also), my point is, these blades are fantastic and are all you need, my trimmer is like new again thanks to this and I should have gone for the simpler option straight away, rather than being attracted to a new trimmer completely, that was cut in price and had great reviews. Amazon also I can't praise enough, they were truly fantastic at sorting everything out and very fast too, it's quite unbelievable really how great they were (a rarity with companies these days), so massive thanks to Amazon also and these blades truly are fantastic!!

Perfect fit genuine Dahle cutter head, cutter working beautifully again

I make cards for a charity and run a craft club so I’m always using my paper cutter. So pleased that I can still get a replacement blade for my cutter. This was perfect!

Pricey way of extending the life of my paper trimmer. The head roller had perished with age and while it still worked it was leaving a trail of rubber powder behind it. This was about £6 cheaper than buying a new one.

This doesn’t fit the 508. Finally unpacked this to replace, and even though the box says it fits the 508, it’s an entirely different shape. Regardless of the time period since purchase, this should be refundable.

We were about to replace the entire paper cutter as it had seen better days and was no longer cutting even one piece of paper cleanly. After a brief search found this replacement blade. Photos confirmed it was the correct one for our cutter. Purchased and saved a lot of money. An excellent buy and the cutter is back to as new condition. Works really well and very pleased.

I have a very old Dahle 507 paper trimmer that hadn't just got blunt, the rubber roller part had completely decayed and was leaving bits all over the cutting area! Mine was black in colour originally. This replacement fitted perfectly with ease, the only real time taken was to clean up the rest of the trimmer after the old roller's mess. I now have a trimmer that behaves like new. Very pleased! Much more cost effective than a new one of these trimmers or a cheap replacement that wouldn't stand the workload.

After months of struggling with a cutter that would only manage a single sheet of paper it's great to have it effectively restored to new with a replacement bland. The blade is extremely easy to fit which is great.

Tolles Ersatzmesser für mein uraltes Schneidegerät Dahle 507. Passt perfekt, wenn man es richtig herum einsetzt ;), und schneidet "wie neu". Und dass das Messer jetzt grau und nicht schwarz ist, stört mich nicht weiter.

Ho acquistato il ricambio perché la taglierina slabbrava. Il ricambio faceva lo stesso difetto e, pensando e ripensando, ho scoperto che la lama, forse per un eccesso di fogli, aveva fatto un salto e si era posizionata all'interno, tra la guida in acciaio e la struttura in ferro azzurra. Montato con un pò di attenzione nel modo giusto, il ricambio ha tagliato perfettamente per uno due giorni. Una quindicina di fogli in tutto. Purtroppo, ora, pur rimanendo la lama perfettamente nella sua posizione, la taglierina presenta lo stesso difetto. Slabbra. Con rammarico cambio il mio precedente giudizio Che dire ...
