These grill inserts are perfect. They fit tightly, stay completely secure, and make the front of the car look fantastic. Plus, they actually protect the radiator from rocks and road debris. It gives the vehicle a premium look while adding peace of mind.

For piece of mind, peel the tape already on the grill and replace with; 3M Exterior Attachment Tape, product #38582. The grill fits perfectly into place and gives the front of the CX50 a finished and polished look. Matches the existing grill. Easily installed after cleaning area with TSP and the use of the alcohol wipe, included. Personal opinion, Mazda should have these installed at the manufacturing level.

These front grill mesh inserts beautify and complete what is otherwise an unappealing open space beneath the main grill on a Mazda CX-50. They match the factory grill perfectly, and are a perfect fit. Installation is quick, and I recommend you read other reviews about partially removing the cover on the foam mount tape while positioning, then removing it all when the insert is in place. I also followed the suggestions for adding zip ties (I used one on the top and one on the bottom) to further secure the insert to a post that is already there. It added some time, can be a little tricky, especially the lower zip tie which requires a very thin tie, but I now am confident these inserts will never fall off. IMHO these grill inserts really dresses up the front of the vehicle.

Very impressed with this product. Fits perfectly and looks great. Matches the original grill perfectly. Not something anybody is really going to notice and compliment on, but definitely looks like it belongs there.

They do enhance the lower front air dam from just being an open space. Easy install. I followed the advice of previous reviews by inserting the outer corners in first then manipulating and snapping the inner sides, under the existing license plate frame and middle radar sensor. My only issue, which resulted in 4 rather than 5 stars, is that while the left panel went in snug as a glove (snapped in place and didn't move with the preinstalled double-sided tape), the right panel was not as snug. There was some play and the double-sided tape on the right panel didn't hold as well. Probably an isolated issue in my case but an issue just the same. I added another layer of 3M double-sided tape and that did help. As other previous reviews suggested, I also used black zip-ties and those worked perfectly as a parachute to confidently securing the panels in place without fear of them popping loose. A trick with the zip-tie application, bend the zip-ties 180 degrees, or 90 degrees in two places, so it can easily thread and curve through the grill and single existing front air dam vertical post, then back out to you to secure. Thread the zip-tie through the upper part of the grill panel as it is better hidden from sight. I didn't tighten the zip-tie until I first adjusted and turned it so the lock nub was turned inside the grill, making it less visible. All in all, a great upgrade and enhancement for the front at a reasonable price.
