Medium Landscape Rock

We have worked hard to create a peaceful backyard environment and this product was just the thing needed to finish it off! This nicely molded and heavily constructed landscape rock has covered over a electrical box that had been taking away from the natural outdoor beauty of this space. It looks beautiful and it’s so durable that I can even edge up to it and it hasn’t left a mark. This thing is heavy duty, yet super light for handling and I couldn’t be happier with how it’s helped transform our yard. Highly recommend!

Perfect size to cover my electrical box near my fish pond. Great quality and blends right in!

This is a very realistic looking faux rock. It has multiple color tones (sandstone) and black speckles, just like real Granite. The plastic is very thick and durable, but it also cuts easily with sharp tin snips. The rock comes with 2 metal stakes to use to secure it to the ground with. I almost missed the stakes, as they were taped to the inside top of the rock. There are also 2 pre-drilled holes in the base of the rock, on either side, about an inch from the bottom, for the stakes to go through. Take the measurements with a grain of salt, as they are the size of the base of the rock. The rock is tapered and irregular in shape, so the measurements vary from bottom to top. I did not have any issues with the stickers leaving residue on the rock, as some other reviewers have stated. The stickers practically fell off by themselves. I previously purchased a couple of larger Orbit valve cover rocks, but they look more like painted paper mache compared to the Emsco Group rocks. The Emsco Group rocks are much more realistic looking. These rocks are a little overpriced for a hollow piece of plastic (the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars). However, they look realistic and work for their intended purpose of covering irrigation valves. If you are looking for some realistic looking faux rocks then look no further.

It looks plenty like sandstone to me - sandstone comes in various shades and textures - this almost exactly matches some little bits I picked up near City of Rocks in New Mexico. Weirdly, I'm using this for an art installation, and it will probably stay inside. So I'm hoping the finish stays intact and plausible a longer while, and doesn't peel, like the small sandstone one someone else here wrote about receiving. Today, as things stand, I'm rating this 5 stars.

Scene: an idyllic woodland setting with ugly utility area just by the approach to the front door. Solution: Native shrubs hide various power meters. Two small mossy ponds linked by pebble stream bed among scattered mountain boulders. Lots of fern. Native woodland plants. Area blended now with the woods, not at all contrived - except for that large well pump stuck right in front of everything! Tried masking it with a length of hollow tree trunk. Too heavy - had to lug it up and back every time I needed to hitch up a hose. And it fell apart after a year or so. What else to do? Eureka! Found this poly rock on Amazon. Dropped it (measurements taken to ensure fit) over pump. Snap! Perfect. Bit clean for hereabouts but patched on some dirt, started feather moss (thuidium) creeping over it and lo! Where did it go? Abracadabrakazam - this little poly rock not only hides a blot on the old landscape, but is also indestructible and indiscernible from its legitimate fellows AND not least it protects and insulates said blot from winter freeze. No more sodden felt blanket! Next spring when the "rock" has weathered, I might add a picture to this review!

We are actually using these in our chicken coop for decoration and to keep them from getting board. These are very well made and look like the real thing. I was a little skeptical about the appearance, but I didn’t care since it was for our chickens. The appearance of these fake rocks are actually look real. I am very impressed. I would definitely buy these again.

You can see from the photo that the color shown is not the color received. It looks like a real rock but I wanted the lighter color. It's also way larger than it says. Read some of the other reviews to get accurate sizes. Someone took a photo from the sticker on their rock with all the sizes. Mine didn't have that sticker.

J'ai utilisé la roche artificielle pour cacher un tuyau (clapet extérieur) et c'est super beau. On dirait une vraie roche 👍
