10 Pcs Blank Challenge Coin, Engraving Blanks Coins, Solid Brass/Zinc Alloy Silver Plated 40mm Diameter with Acrylic Protection Box Pattern for DIY Crafts Engraving

These blanks are decently made and work well with our X-Tool F1 Ultra engraver. They struggle when we try to emboss them but it does work if your setting is correct. There seemed to be different metal quality in them as some burned and left black spots and some remained the same after post processing. Now this could all be user error or could be a metal quality issue. There was little to no magnetism in them so they were higher quality then others I’ve purchased.

They engrave very well with an infrared laser

Hoping to use this for coin engraves on my fiber laser but when you engrave them they do not polish up. It becomes more of a grey metal. So thinking these are not solid metal coins and more of a compressed metal. good for surface engrave for black fininish and 2d art but not for 3D style engraves.

These work perfect for what we wanted to use them for. (With our laser engraver) my only complaint is I don't know what I can do to protect the design after I engrave it to keep my design (more my fault then the product itself)

The Silver were horrible to engrave. Any depth they turn either pink or copper, so the silver must be just a veneer.
