Water lid is not lockable.Its alternate between ac and cooler.AverGe coolinG.If u on fan with mist and switch on normal fan of room then it's cool room.Alone it's not too much effecfive.It returned it because when we on mist without fan burninG smell comes from motor & after some hours of usaGe I started feelinG fainted and breathinG Problem so I returned this Product.SimPle fan, and ac is best.Online fanS are not Gd for health
