I can’t believe you can get a complete harness of this quality at this price! Granted instructions included are more of a warning than guide, however, there’s some practical advice in there that anyone should know when undertaking a job of this magnitude. This is especially true if you’re wanting to only do it once if you’re keen enough to research plan and most importantly, pay attention!My practical advice is to draw a schematic over and over till there’s no guess work when you’re putting it in. If you know what you’re getting yourself into, by all means, I recommend this harness. This project is not for the faint hearted but chance favors the bold!

If you’re looking for this you’re debating on building your own harness from the existing one, or looking at the insane cost of brand name ones. The price on this one draws you in, but so far I feel like you get a your moneys worth.The harness itself is fairly well constructed. The connectors are obviously not factory GM, but they aren’t the cheapest I’ve ever seen. They all seem to fit fine. I will add some dielectric grease to help with waterproofing since that’s the part I trust the least.The wire used seems to be decent. It’s likely CCA not OFC, but for the price that’s no surprise. The gauge seems decent at about 18 for most of it.The fuse box is budget, it’s about what you would find on here for cheap, but it’s wired fine and not a minor concern. I’ll just carry some extra relays to be on the safe side.Since I don’t have my custom vehicle fully built yet I can’t yet comment on how long it is. From my initial measurements though, it does seem like it has the reach to get it through the firewall so you can mount the ECU and fuse block inside the vehicle.Overall, for the price, this is impressive. It’s well loomed and even though it’s corrugated plastic loom, it’s still cleanly done. It also has more thorough instructions than expected that give you wire labeling and instructions. One thing to be cautious of on these is that you know what each wire goes to since the colors may not match those in the factory harness.I’m happy with it and excited to get my stuff done. So far it seems like a much better choice than tearing down the factory harness.

I wasn't real optimistic when I seen this harness and it's price. I can say that I am happily surprised that it really is a well made harness. Since the vehicle it is being installed in isn't going to be completed for a while, I tested some of the circuits for continuity. And from those limited tests I can say it looks like the real deal and functions as intended. The individual insulated wires are assembled and wrapped properly with obvious attention to detail.If you are looking for an alternative to building your own harness, this is the best choice out there that I have found, and well worth the price. Even without the injector harness, it is still a great value.

This 4L60E Standalone Wiring Harness Engine Complete Wiring Harness 1999-2006 Vortec Engines works great. It was NOT easy to install. That was expected though so anyone thinking replacing a wiring harness is easy will be in for a surprise. No complaints though. I knew what I was getting into!

This is a decent wiring harness, it's NOT FOR AMATEUR. I would't call it plug-n-play.The wiring harness doesn't have GM matching wire colors (there are no tracer stripes, only solid colors), the wires aren't labeled, and the kit only has very basic instructions (mainly concerning torque converter lockup and cruisecontrol.) The instrument gauge wires aren't terminated with plugs, you must wire those yourself.The fuel injector plugs are EV1 style, you may need adapters (they can be found for about $20.)You will need the coil pack harnesses too, if your engine didn't come with them (another $40)The fuse/relay box is on the cheap side, usable but not high quality.The firewall grommet will slide a few inches for length.Having said that, it's actually a well built harness. The ecm, transmission, and sensor ends all appear to be good quality. I was expecting to see terrible quality at this price. I certainly wouldn't build a harness for what this cost, my life is getting shorter every day and my time is more valuable.I am not afraid of wiring and have plenty of experience building a wiring harness.I will probably upgrade the fuse/relay box for something fancy, and I have a hand-held label printer to identify the circuits.So, yes I approve of this harness and would recommend it to anyone who isn't afraid of having to make a modification or two.I Hope My Review And Pictures Were Helpful To You!!
