YOREPEK Large Laptop Backpack for Men, Heavy Duty Travel Backpack

A solid, lower-cost alternative to the much more expensive OGIO backpacks. This is a great option for business travelers thanks to its strong storage capacity and generous space for larger devices and accessories. I typically travel with a laptop, an external monitor, and a tablet, and still had room left in the laptop compartment. The main compartment is large enough to effectively replace a carry-on, making it easy to get through a week of travel with just this backpack. For conferences or events, I’d still pair it with a smaller daypack since this is noticeably larger than a standard backpack. It has the look and layout of an OGIO-style laptop bag, but it doesn’t quite match the same level of durability. It’s close, but I’d recommend it for someone who handles their gear with care. Even at a low price point, I wouldn’t choose it for younger kids or even middle or high school students since it likely won’t hold up to heavy daily use the way an OGIO bag would. After years of using OGIO backpacks, those tend to last significantly longer and take more abuse. This one just doesn’t feel like it would reach that same level of longevity, so it really comes down to the user and how it will be used. One other note: the side pockets and mesh areas are somewhat limited compared to what I’m used to. Larger tumblers, like 20 oz or 30 oz bottles, don’t fit as comfortably since the pockets don’t stretch much. Standard water bottles fit fine, but there’s less flexibility overall. If you’re buying this as a gift, just be sure you’re choosing it for someone who will be fairly careful with their backpack.

I used this bag for an out of town trip which required me to fly out to DC. I was surprised as to how much stuff I was able to pack in this bag, how many useful pockets there were, the fact that it is waterproof also helped and it is made of good material. I strongly recommend this backpack to anyone looking for a good sturdy yet comfortable backpack.

This backpack holds more than you expect it to. I use it a lot and it is comfortable to wear. It's very sturdy, made well and worth the price. My laptop fits perfectly in the computer pocket. I like that it's near the back so it is very stable. And carrying the heavy load on my back going up a flight of stairs is doable. The elevator was broken for 2 months.... There is no second guessing with this bag. It's a good one.

I purchased this backpack on October 25th. I will update after a few months of usage. Here's my review, straight from receiving it. I saw many reviews of people backpacking all over the world and the bag held up. My needs are slightly different. I live in a city in Ohio and my work commute consists of walking, bus, a little more walking before another bus, then more walking to get to my destination... This is a one way trip. So, living in Northern Ohio, the weather is weird. I need space for my dress/work shoes, umbrella, hat, scarf, gloves, light sweater, laptop, lunch, wallet, and other small odds and ends. I'm sick and tired of carrying 3 bags... Sometimes 4 if I pick up a few groceries on the way home. THIS BACKPACK IS PERFECT! It fits everything I need and much more if I need more. I bought a separate (6 can) lunch bag/cooler (here on Amazon for $9) to sit on the bottom of the main compartment. My lunch is always in a plastic container so I have no worries of crushing my food. The lunch container is not included, I just showed the picture to show how roomy the bag is. I can easily fit my shoes (I have large shoes lol) an extra sweater for the office, scarf, hat, and gloves all fit perfectly on top of the lunch container in the main compartment. As you can see in the picture, there is room on the side of the lunch container for a large drinking bottle as well. My umbrella fits perfectly inside one of the side mesh pockets and the other side by the charging port, I put my phone inside the zippered pocket. The main compartment also has 2 mesh pockets in the back that can fit wallets (I have my personal fem products bag on one side) My charging battery pack is inside the other pocket. The very front pocket comes with a handy key ring that easily detaches for use and plenty of pockets for pens and other odds and ends. I have my wallet in the back zipper portion of the front pocket. And finally to the very back of the bag. I saw a reviewer had stated that there is NO WAY a 17inch laptop will fit. Well... Mine is 17 inches and as you can see... It fits perfectly with room to spare. I tried the backpack on with everything loaded up and it doesn't seem heavy at all. In fact it's much more comfortable than having to lug multiple bags through the city. I say buy this bag! It seems great for world travel but it's also fantastic for city life as well.

It's a really durable backpack and can hold more than Targus Drifter II and the Swiss Gear backpacks I've had in the past. It's high quality and well made. I would definitely buy it again once it shows signs of wear and tear. The best backpack I've owned. Perfect for college students. It seems to be weatherproof as it advertises since SwissGear and Targus backpacks are NOT weatherproof. Holds a workstation laptop,1.0" BETTER binder, from Staples 100 page lab notebook with carbon paper, lab manual, tablet, lots of pencils & pens with lead refills, erasers, 3 separate External HDD with connector cables for various documents, files, and other stuff I separate onto these external hard drives, two moleskin notebooks, NIV thinline bible, a scientific calculator, graphing calculator, headphones, wall outlet charger, and SO MUCH MORE that I cannot list without it sounding repetitive. It is well made but I need to sew one of the straps back into its place if that is possible after heavy usage since April 2018. Does anyone have advice for that? The material for the straps wear out easily. I put my targus drifter through heavy use and IT broke within less than a year. I hope this one lasts a lifetime. SwissGear laptop backpacks usually have a zipper problem as other reviewers told me about. They sure don't make laptop backpacks like they used to anymore. I have gone through 2+ SwissGear but hated them, Targus Drifter II was best for storage I ever had for everything I listed but material sucks and sides ripped if you overload it after 6+ months of heavy usuage. This backpack lasted the longest until the material on the side of the straps got torn out of its place. It is the fringy looking part of the right strap. If it weren't for that issue, I would have given the original 5 star review. Now, it is down 4 stars. Best bang for your money. EDIT: After 7 months of HEAVY usage for transporting laptop, tablet, lab manuals, etc. The strap lining ripped. Now, I AM looking for a replacement. IF this company has the strap quality of SwissGear with its build quality, I'll be really happy and will buy from this company again but after the price I paid, I expected it to last at least a year. Otherwise, I might BUY directly from SwissGear Website for the warranty or look for other brands. Targus is okay but ripped after 7-9 months of heavy usage and IS cheaper quality than Yorepek. The zippers on SwissGear SUCKS and the manufacturing seems to have gone downhill as all the previous reviewers of their new products says on their website. Anyone has suggestions for a new large laptop business backpack? I need to take my time and slim business laptop backpacks won't work for me since I am a Chemistry, Electrical Engineering double major. Junior in Chemistry, senior in Electrical Engineering.

Love this backpack! It has been perfect for traveling. Love all of the different pockets, love the padding for my laptop, and fits as a great carry on when flying. I've used it several times and it is still very sturdy and hasn't broken down at all. I definitely recommend this backpack!

OMG, buy this backpack! It is the BEST ONE I HAVE EVER BOUGHT! We bought this a year ago and It has taken a beating and it's gone to camp too and I just ran it through the washing machine and it looks brand new. It is so duable and there is more than enough room for more than you can imagine. This beats Jansports 100%. Jansport has a warranty and yet they did not warrent the 2 backpacks that tore from books that we only had for 3 months. I don't have to buy another backpack this year and so this has given us 2 school years use! Love it! I bought 2 of them for my boys. Photos are from today, so this is a one year old bag from a 10 year old boy.

This is a must for travel! It fits perfectly under the seat as my carryon and has a strap to attach to my rolling overhead suitcase too! I love how much it can hold and still feel sturdy and comfortable to carry. Very happy with this backpack! 🤗❤️

Gave this to my husband as a gift, I have used it for a few trips as carry on and work for a few days and he uses it almost every day. Works very well for many uses!!! Lots of room for personal stuff and work stuff, also a great laptop pocket, protects the laptop very well (not a single scratch or scuff). Would definitely buy another. Very durable - held up to a lot of walking and some running without any noticeable wearing.
