I’ve been using these for bread baking and they are so much easier than parchment paper! They’re holding up well so far. I love that’s there’s two sizes. One fits perfectly in my Dutch oven and the other is perfect for a loaf pan. They’re just the right length to be able to pick up without burning yourself. They clean easily too. They’re well worth the money!

I highly recommend these bread slings. They work very well for transferring dough in and out of hot Dutch ovens. It can sometimes seem like there is a LOT of equipment to get when you want to get into sourdough baking. But these are worth it. (Remember NOT to touch the sling with your bear hand when it comes out of the oven.) I recommend these over parchment paper, which I find can rip. I use both the round and oval slings regularly. I put a sling in top of the proofing basket and flip the basket over to get the dough onto the sling. Then I lower it into a Dutch oven. (You can use a cold Dutch oven or a warm one - I’ve gotten comparable results.) One possible downside that I didn’t think about: a sling that is too thick could keep the Dutch oven lid from snuggly fitting. These seem to work fine though. I love these bread slings. When looking for a silicone sling I was trying to find the circular and the oval sizes and this was the only site that I could find them on. I was pleasantly surprised by the durability of the slings. They worked amazing and have saved me money (I was previously using parchment. These have little holes to help lift and do not stick to the dough at all. Would definitely recommend these slings if baking sourdough bread!

A perfect size for a smaller Dutch oven. It allows for ice cubes to go under the mat and stream a delicious sourdough loaf. Good quality and super easy to clean.

Just like I ordered. They are very helpful lifting sourdough bread out of a hot dutch oven. Mo complaints here and I will definitely reorder when needed.
