Aidapt Rigid Sock/Stocking/Tights Helper Ideal for Those who Struggle to Bend When Dressing. Ideal for Users Recovering from Operations. Robust Metal Frame.

My daughter asked for this to help her with socks after spinal fusion surgery. She reports that it works perfectly and she's very happy with it. The only downside I see is that it is fairly large for what it does - some of the smaller, flatter options looked like they'd store much better but my daughter was adamant that it had to be this one! I can see how it probably works better than the fabric options.

Admittedly I only have 1. arm the instructions are absolutely useless it doesn't tell you which way to put the toe and the heel I only. found that out by researching a video my compression socks are so tight to get on the frame it leaves no slack to put your toe in. On the video. there's so much slack you could put a train through there, what good are they as compression socks None I rate this product as very poor,

Well made and delivered promptly. Device is pretty easy to use when you've got the hang of it especially if using Compression Hosiery I find the best way is to put the Stocking on the device till the toe is fully in the device then pull up gently sometimes you may just to have manually pull the stocking up till it fits correctly. Im pleased with the device and it does make puting the Hosiery on easier.

It found it very awkward to use, my sock could barely stretch over the frame and when I finally managed to get my toes in I found it very difficult to remove the frame whilst leaving the sock on the end of my foot. It could be that I have not mastered the technique yet, a video showing how to do it would be very helpful. But make sure it is a person with mobility issues that demonstrates it and not a young gymnast! It is a good strong sturdy frame but unfortunately not the help that I hoped it would be.

I thought this would be ideal for my arthritic husband's use, but sadly he was unable to bend his knee sufficiently to get his leg into the aid!! Having said that, I was impressed by the aid's potential. It was solid and well made. I was forced to return and request a refund, which was quickly and efficiently effected./

An excellent product

After carefully comparing different designs I purchased this one as it looked as though it would do the job perfectly for stretching compression stockings. It is robustly built but in my opinion has a design flaw as even with two hands it is very difficult to fit a compression stocking over the frame as there is insufficient frame to prevent the stocking folding underneath. A small design modification would make this a really good product, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me as it is and I returned it.

This has been an absolute godsend for my 83 year old mother to help her get her support stockings on. It used to be such a struggle but this makes things so much easier, would definitely recommend for people with mobility problems.
