A-Premium 8-Speed Automatic Transmission Oil Pan with Plug, Gasket & Bolts

Bought for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. Seems identical to the factory pan just with a drain plug. Loved that it came with all hardware needed, new bolts and everything. Went up without issue and hasn't leaked. I would buy again. I actually came back and bought a second one for my parents 2015 Overland. Again worked great!

The trans pan matched the oem trans pan in design, shape, and quality which included new trans bolts and fill plug. The trans filter tube was a tight fit, as expected, and all of the bolts worked perfectly to mount the pan. Torqued to spec and followed the fill procedure with no leaks. So far so good, noticed with filter change and oil refresh that the trans shifted smoother through gears without issue. Here's for another 100,000+ miles.

I was a little nervous about buying this pan as it was very reasonably priced compared to other on market. I went ahead with the purchase in hopes it would last a month or two. My intention was to use the pan for a first flush on my 2018 with 135,000 miles on it. Like many, I listened to the dealership telling me it was lifetime transmission fill, a sealed transmission, and would cost &1,200 plus dollars for them to service, etc. thus the 135,000 miles without a flush. This pan fit perfectly, didn’t leak from pan or pan drain bolt, and performed well. My thought on short use was the transmission holds 8.3 quart but replacing the pan only removes 5.3 quarts leaving 3 quarts in the transmission with 135,000 miles on it. I have since replace the pan with a PPE aluminum pan that holds an additional 2 quarts of fluid. For those that are having the same issues that I was experiencing (shifting issues between 1st and 2nd gear on cold first start of day only), the flush made a significant improvement and final change too PPE pan and fluid change restored my trucks performance to the same as when first purchased new). These transmissions never performed perfectly on the first start of the day, are clunky but don't shutter or miss-shift at low speed when cold. This pan is not constructed to the same specifications as the manufacturers so you will need to use the bolt supplied with the pan for attaching (the bolt head is smaller then OEM) the pan seams to be constructed as well as OEM and performed without any issues.

Perfect fit for my 2017 Ram 1500 with Pentastar vvt 3.6L. Looks and fit exactly like the OEM pan. Paid $47, dealer sells same pan for $250 . Arrived quickly, very happy with this purchase. Adamsville,TN

While I think the design is absurd (disposable transmission pans) this kit is an exact match to factory pan and worked perfectly. If you choose to do this maintenance on your Mopar, I highly recommend this kit.

The pan fit perfectly. I took the time to carefully scrub the mating surface with 99 alcohol and green abrasive pad and not get any dirt inside the transmission. I rubbed fresh transmission oil along the gasket to wet it for a better seal. I pressed the gasket down to make sure it was seated correctly in the groves of the pan. I put all of the bolts in hand tight to not risk stripping. Then I began gently tightening each bolt around the pan. Then went around one last time tightening firmly. I will say that everything looked just like the original, except for the gasket. The gasket is janky and not well formed. Thankfully I had no leaks. I'm really happy I went with this because my old pan magnets had plenty of fine iron on them and I'm sure it needed a new filter. After 142k km the atf on my ram 1500 was very dark and I'm sure full of fine particles. This pan was really inexpensive and aside from the janky gasket, I think will work great. I drained the fluid into a pale, and then got an identical pale and filled it to the same line (slightly above to accomodate a bit of spilling). This way I knew exactly how much to put back in. I pumped it in until some came out and then started the truck which allowed me to quickly pump the rest in while it was running. The automatic transmission has been much smoother. I intend to drain the fluid one more time on the next oil change and repeat the process. Also for my ram there's an exhaust pipe just below the drain plug and an allan key cant fit to open it. I said screw it and wrapped electrical tape around a drill bit 1/4 inch from the tip and drilled through the old pan. The tape stopped the bit so it couldn't hit the transmission. This way the oil drained cleanly into the pale without trying to shave down an Alan key to fit above the exhaust pipe.
