Using this cable with my Fire TV Cube and Xbox and it works perfectly. The picture is sharp, HDR and 4K stream without any issues, and I haven’t seen any flickering or dropouts. The connectors feel sturdy, the cable is flexible enough to route behind the TV, and it locked in firmly on the first try. If you just need a solid high-speed HDMI cable that does what it’s supposed to, this is a great choice.

A message to Samsung Ark users: I have the first generation Samsung Ark screen and have been plagued with the typical problem where the screen just goes black and has to reconnect issue for years of use... I replaced the original HDMI cable 3 different times with no luck on solving that. Finally, I decided to try again and this seems to have fixed it completely. Hope this helps you too!

My LG TV and Soundbar kept dropping audio periodically. LG Tech Support had me reset the devices, etc. but nothing worked. When audio was dropped I could only get it back by switching through inputs or powering off and on. I read that a 8k HDMI cable would help with eARC problems. I don't have enough time to say if it has stabilized the eARC connection but to my surprise the Video quality has significantly improved. This is only the eARC connection between the TV and Soundbar. I ordered the 2 pack so I will now try updating the cable between my streaming device and TV.

Quality cables that are affordable. I also like the various colors to help with organization. I have never had an issue with Cable Matters cables. I have had these stop working just for to many movement and connect and disconnect cycles. Far more than HDMI is really engineered for. Overall if you're just getting these for your TV sound system or monitor, it's a great cable at a good value. If you need an HDMI in an area where it'll be moved a lot and connected or disconnected often, look for something a bit more rugged.
