This little heater really works!
I have a poorly insulated living room of about 500 square feet I just can’t keep warm in winter. I’ve tried all sorts of fixes to supplement my central heat, and none has worked as well as this little heater. It really puts out the heat! I’m on the east coast having historic low temps right now and it is working as a supplemental heat source. The room is noticeably warmer and cozier. I used the feet and did not mount it. The feet were a bit challenging to put together, but once I figured that out, the rest is intuitive. Very quiet even at high speed. The box makes clear you can’t use this as a primary heat source in a room larger than 150 square feet, but it works very well as a supplement to my room. I might get another! I definitely r3commend this little workhorse.

Small and powerful
Good, small, efficient unit. It’s been extremely cold in NY, Bought this to help offset heating the house with baseboard heat. Kitchen and living room are right above garage so this helps keeps those rooms warmer. Does a great job even with the rooms being large. Can feel the difference when it’s on. Pretty quiet, just sound like a small fan running. Also good to stand near when your feet are cold!!

Powerful, safe, and efficient
We live in a very old house with little upstairs insulation, and only one HVAC vent upstairs. We needed a solution to keep the main area warm, so I went on a search for the best space heater in the ~100$ range. -Heating Performance Fantastic. After a few moments of startup, the air gets very warm and the fan pushes it out evenly. I would say within a few hours, the room was up to temperature. -Safe I really like that this can be wall mount so there is 0 risk of it falling over. It also has a sensor that will turn it off if it gets too hot. Another nice thing, is that it is safe to the touch. I don't have to worry as much about a curious child touching it and getting burnt. -Efficient Probably my favorite part... set it to auto, give it a temperature, and let it run. It WILL raise your electricity bill as it hits around 1500W on high mode, but when it hits the desired temperature, it will go into "low" mode where it's only pulling around 800W. -Bonus points There are filters built into the side so it cleans the air a bit as well.

Not for big rooms, but thermostat and looks a huge plus
So I wasn't sure I'd keep this unit and was initially going to return it, but ultimately it's a fairly great heater and does help with a chilly part of my house. For the price it's I was expecting more heat output as I have a fairly big room that's chilly and was hoping for a drastic change. So I wanted to compare it to a cheap $30 unit I bought from Home Depot about 10yrs+ ago. However the fire storm unit has made the room more livable in cooler outside temps. Not sure the cost benefit is there compared to the $30 unit but you are getting a thermostat with auto heat modes to help on power saving whereas a cheaper unit is high/low/off, so that's the huge plus. However, in a big room don't expect a huge difference right away. You might be better off getting a stronger unit without the bells and whistles. For medium to small rooms this is an ideal unit especially if it's a bedroom where the thermostat will prevent you from waking up sweating. The fire storm is also aesthetically a plus too if you don't want an ugly space heater in a living space so that's a plus too. Having the ability to wall mount it is nice too if you want a more seemless look although for us we're not doing that. I included the $30 unit heater readings too for comparison. It would be nice to have a scheduling function too where it didn't run on certain day/time schedules like when everyone is at work/school.

Absolute garbage
When comparing 1500 W heaters, I expected the $120 model with good reviews to far surpass the small portable units. Wow was I wrong. This heater can be used either as wall mount or with the supplied legs. Let me tell you DO NOT BOTHER with the legs. This is designed to be a wall mounted unit. It really doesn't matter because it just doesn't work. Pros: - The instructions and installation information is actually quite good. It's the product's only redeeming quality. Cons: - Blower even at high does not match up to small space heaters (i.e. the ones that can fit on a small night stand) - Heating element does not match up to anything. I'm trying to heat a 60º room to maybe 65, and you can tell that the heating element just doesn't get hot enough to do any change - Housing is cheap plastic. - Blower blows downward. If you use this on the floor with legs, you're basically just (barely) heating the floor below you. This is a great product if you want to just take it out of the box, put it in your space, then put it back in the box and ship back to Amazon for a return. It is literally useless. I should have never thought that the higher price tag meant better quality.

Works well in large basement area.
Works great! Using it to heat our basement play area and it’s working great!! Also the remote lock is great so toddlers can’t play with touch screen. I like the wall mount feature but I am using the legs; they were very easy to affix.

Solid Performance, Costly To Run
I was pretty thrilled with this when it first arrived. It seemed a great, economical solution toward heating my home efficiently. Now that we are in cold temperatures, my position has changed a bit. Pro's: It's a nice looking unit. Lightweight and wall mountable. The heat is air driven. It is a different kind of heat than conventional heaters. The air blowing is barely warmer than the air in the room and the unit itself does not get terribly hot, but I can't sit too long within 6 feet in front of it without boiling over. The heat seems to radiate the room(s) uniformly. I am not experiencing cold pockets and drafts as I did with the propane furnace and electric fireplace. The thermostat seems to need recalibrated if the heater is moved to a different position in the room, but while in one place, the thermostat does its job in cycling the heater on and off efficiently. I definitely feel warmer with this than with other heating appliances. It's also been a gentle draw on the power supply and is not throwing breakers. I even have the TV and consoles on the same outlet, which is pretty amazing. The remote is convenient too. But... Con's: The cord is pretty short. Maybe 4 feet. It is recommended to plug in directly, so you're limited to that distance from a serviceable outlet and I only have 2 in this old farmhouse that I trust to support it, so that limits where I can hang it. I ordered the model with the feet, but they were quite flimsy and one snapped off the first time it tumbled. The shut off feature works, but not instantly. It kind of cycles down rather than turns off. That makes me nervous. The ultimate downer is that I just got my first electric bill under temps cold enough that it's pretty much running constantly. $150 over my typical bill, so I am not seeing any savings there over my electric fireplace, but I will say that the heat quality is much better. I purchased for zone heating to supplement and stretch my propane tank through the winter, and I think it will suceed in that, but I purchased 3 of these (2 are smaller) and can't afford to run them all at this consumption. This one will serve the public spaces and seems to do the job of 2 standard (15000) electric heaters at the same cost of operation as 1 of them. I'm heating about 800 open sq ft. It's carrying most of the heating load with the furnace mostly kicking on later in the evenings. I expect that to change some when the temps tank below 30, but it should help me to stretch my propane tank long enough to not need to top off during peak rates (usually January).
