ESD UK Anti-Static Grounding Adapter - 2 x Post Connections

I bought this (plus a USB isolator) to remove line noise from a network of 5 synthesisers going through a small mixer. Unfortunately neither removed the noise, I later discovered the problem to be a dodgy cable. Having said that, I have left the grounding adapter wired-in just for peace of mind when using expensive equipment.

Does what it says I use this as an earth while powder coating and my results in coverage have improved

Ok, it doesn't claim to fix mains hum in audio devices, but I'll just leave this review in case others are also being misled by their AI assistant (as I was, again) which said I should definitely buy one of these to earth the audio devices I use for home recording, to defeat mains hum. Once it arrived and I told the AI it didn't work, it changed its mind and explained that of course it doesn't, due to the megohm resistor in it. This plug is designed for earthing humans, not audio equipment (which can be done by simply removing the live and neutral pins from an ordinary mains plug, and running a cable from the earth pin to a screw on the audio device case. This method DOES work). If only the AI had told me that in the first place.

Arrived promptly, well packaged, I had a humming noise previous to fitting this .. earthing my pre-amp from a earth terminal onto this plug with earth wire and a couple of terminals crimped on each end ,, I have no humming anymore so well pleased I is !!

I got this to work on my pc with an anti static mat and it was great and easy to use. Thought I'd try it at work when powder coating it was an excellent to help with grounding. Worth the money and ideal for multiple uses nice sturdy build and has dual points to run more than one item on

Bought to stop buzzing from my hi-fi. Unfortunately it did not work for me, just made things worse. However, it does seem well made and when used for it's intended purpose performs as expected.
