4k60+HDR at 35ft - No problem!
Very happy with this 35ft cable! First off, it has to be noted that the Monoprice "Luxe" line has changed over the years, and reviews from years ago don't necessarily reflect the current product, despite the information in the Amazon product listing. Most notably, the 'active' chipset changed in late-2017/early-2018 from an antiquated RedMere chipset to the newer Spectra7 HT8181. This brings HDCP 2.2 compliance and it also improves the signal. The cable I got had a 2018 manufacture date and touted 4K @ 60hz and YUV 4:4:4 (compared to this listing's YUV 4:2:0). At the same time, I also got a 30ft Monoprice Cabernet cable (with the older chipset), and despite being 5ft shorter, it performed worse. As the Cabernet and Luxe lines used to share a chipset, I can see the older reviews' disappointment. So with that out of the way, how does the cable perform? Excellently, by my tests. I've used it to pass a 4k@60 HDR YUV 4:2:2 signal with Dolby Digital audio, and it does so without a hiccup. It's also super responsive, and my TV acquires a signal quickly without the handshake struggle you sometimes get. As a note, my use case is a PC with an nVidia GTX 970 connected directly to a Samsung KS8000. It's also a very sturdy cable and feels very rugged. Material quality seems very high -- all-in-all, a premium cable feel (which it should have for the price!).

Better with Friends (adjacent purchases)...
All about my Oculus Rift! This cable (with my system and in my opinion alone) does not work on it's own with MY Oculus Rift (Your expereience my vary, but I hate getting something in the mail and it doesn't work on it's own). But that's not exactly a bad thing. It just means that at 35', the length of the cable is beginning to resist the signal and it's not consistent enough for the Rift. Here's the list of items I bought in order to get connected: 1. Cable Matters Powered 4K HDMI Extender (HDMI Cable Extender/HDMI Repeater/HDMI Coupler) Up to 100 Feet Supporting HDMI 2.0 at 4K 60Hz with Power Supply for Oculus Rift and More 2. Don't forget a USB 3.0 or 2.0 Extension cable (Not really related to this review, but helpful)

Works for HTV Vive!
I also bought this (35 ft active HDMI cable) for an extension to my Vive headset and set it up the following way after looking at other reviews: PC -> source end of active HDMI cable -> display end of active HDMI cable -> vive link box -> original vive headset cords I have not experienced any lag or video issues with this cable, works great for its purpose and provides the flexibility to get the vive headset set up in a different room than where your PC is sitting.

Perfect For Extending HTC Vive
I tried extending the range on my HTC Vive headset with a passive Amazon Basics HDMI cable that I already had. That cable resulted in small flashing green dots in the headset display. I purchased this 35 foot HDMI active cable. Cable works perfectly and provides same quality as the shorter cable that originally came with the headset.

Audio problem on multiple cables
Bought because I had a cable run from my PC to TV of 35 feet and it was suggested I use an active HDMI cable to make sure there was no signal loss. Picture quality is alright aside from some artifacts and I can't tell what causes them when they do appear but I have mostly been able to find workarounds when it does happen. The real problem has been the audio. I can't say for sure what it is about this cable that messes up the signal but when certain sounds play or many sounds play at once from my PC to the TV, the cable will cut the audio altogether sometimes for several seconds at a time and continue to cut in and out. I replaced my first cable because of this problem and thought the 2nd would have better luck. Well, I tried so many things to get the problem to go away but now I am outside the return window and stuck with it. I tried using digital optical from the TV to a sound bar and even using the headphone port on the TV but the signal is still coming from the defective cable so the problem propagates through to any other device downstream. I have tested other cables I own and the problem does not happen with them. I have tried all ports on my TV and even another HDMI device and isolated this problem to the cable. The bandwidth of the cable should not be saturated either even when carrying a 4k 60Hz signal. Despite the other reviews saying that this cable works perfectly for them and that it succeeded where others failed, I suggest not even thinking about trying this if you need an active HDMI cable because even if it works at first you WILL find problems with it that you CANNOT live with. This may seem a good value compared to similar products but a polished turd is still a turd.

Didn't work for me. Try a shorter 25 foot certified cable from Monoprice instead.
Although this didn't work for me, I have a pretty good guess as to why it didn't work. My current setup: AVR-S730H connected to a LG 65C7P with an Oppo UDP-203 providing 4K playback. I connected the cable and I immediately noticed sparkles. Deep Color was not enabled yet. I tried changing the color space to 4:2:0 and that didn't remove the sparkles. I think I understand why I couldn't get a clean connection. I think if I would have connected directly from my Oppo to the TV that configuration may have worked. Adding interconnects adds impedance and at this length impedance is critical. Connecting directly from the Oppo to my TV ruins my setup though and I didn't try this connection. I ordered a 25 foot Monoprice certified premium HDMI cable. That cable worked. OMG it worked and I've been really happy. I'm not going to bad mouth this cable or Monoprice. Only certified premium HDMI cables are certified to work. That's the risks we take in using long cables. Yes, I know I could have used a super long fiber optic HDMI cable, but look at the gigantic price difference. I say use the cheapest cable that works. To everyone struggling to get a long HDMI cable that works and isn't expensive: good luck. I feel your pain.

Compre la version de 35ft y sirvio para poder colocar mi HTC Vive en un cuarto diferente al de la PC sin ningun problema. Totalmente recomendado.

Great cable. Came in good packaging with the cable ends double protected. Was able to get an HDMI signal cleanly from my camera 30ft away to the Director's monitor without issues or signal degradation (which was happening with 3 other long cables I tried). The fabric coating also improves usability, which surprised me, but this cable seems to track nicer and get snagged less when moving around objects.

I bought this cable for my VR PC in my basement livingroom. I was going to route the HDMI cable 1 way, but then decided to go the other way around the couch :( So now I need to get the 50' cable as I need a touch over 40'. For now, I'm using this 35' cable, but it's just running on the floor and not in the wall behind my TV. My only complaint about the cable is the price, it's pricey but it works well.

It works great for the video side of things but what it doesn't say is the this model has compatibility issues with HDCP 2.2 enabled devices, which unfortunately for me both my devices are so it drops the sound from TV to receiver sometimes. Which can be a little bit annoying when watch Netflix. Only reason I found out was I went on the Monoprice website, they have another cable series Called DynamicView that resolves this issue. If I knew that before I would have gotten the other cable and I am sure I would be giving it a 4 or 5 start.

The 35ft version of this cable didn't deliver at all. At first I was able to output 1080p 4:4:4 and 4k 60hz 4:2:0, but not a full 4k 60 4:4:4, or even 1440p Full RGB. After about a week of use the cable stopped outputting even 1080p on my 2015 Bravia. I wanted 4k 60hz 4:4:4 chroma and this cable couldn't do it. I've since had success by using 2x 15' Monoprice Certified Premium cables in combination with the Blackbird Pro 4k repeater. My TV will now output all supported resolutions and color depths.
