Do these have plastic wallets rather than sheets? I need something that is secure and not something that when I close the book/folder it slips out.

These books have clear plastic display sleeves (wallets) top entry, into which the item is inserted and will not come loose, or fall out. I have a number of these presentation books, and have found them perfectly secure.

Sorry but not used to the sizes.. Are the inner clear pockets at least 8.5inches wide by 11.5 inches in length.??

Yes it is possible. Could be difficult if the folder is completely full.

Will it stay open on the first few pages as it's needed to present at a lectern

I had no issues there, but you can always use a lectern clip if needed

Great but won’t last a lifetime

Bought for our Airbnb cottage to use as guest information booklet. Perfect size and number of pockets, sturdy cover but flimsy plastic pockets, quality as expected for the very low price though. Hoping we get a few years out of it due to the limited use it will get. Would buy again for other uses!
