How would you do this curry paste in slow cooker? Would you boil it up first with water on the stove and then add everything to the slow cooker?

Hello.....To be quite honest I have never used a slow cooker, but I would just try what you think and see.I do not do it the way they say anyway. What I do with this paste is get the amount I want and crumble it into a powder in a bowl or jug and stir in boiling water, the I just add it to the meat or veg I have already startedcooking in the wok or pot..........I rarely follow instructions but then again I'm no cook !!!! :)

Help, followed recipe, didn't thicken. What did I do wrong? Not enough paste?

I've never followed the recipe.i I seal the meat with a little oil then ad water and cook for over an hour until tender then add veg.i mix the curry paste with a little water so when added to the meat and veg it blends in just add as much paste until it's the thickness you like

How much paste and water for 5 people?

100g. of paste to 600ml. water, let the solid dissolve and add hot water to get the consistancy you want.

How long will this keep in the fridge once its opened?

The curry mixture can be left in the cupboard for a few months because it's po.wder so don't put in the fridge it will get damp
