Great academic task explanations / reminders for ELA classroom use.
These are a great addition to any ELA classroom, and although these concepts are introduced in middle school in the US, these serve as excellent reminders to high school students as well. The colors are vivid, vibrant and bold, the text is concise, and gives just enough of a push to a student who may get confused when asked to "evaluate" or to take separate pieces of information to "synthesize". These are printed on card stock, and so are more durable than simple paper, but could benefit from being laminated. The size is large enough to be read from across a classroom. OVERALL: A PROS: + Bold colors + Brief and concise explanations of academic tasks + Covers most of the most common academic tasks CONS: - Are not laminated, so be careful!

Impressionistic
This collection of posters when mounted make for an impressive, compelling experience. The large font of the key terms is eye catching in combination with the choice of background colours and hues. These work well for long-range viewing. The glossy finish guarantees I will have these for quite some time without them losing their attractiveness. I purchased these as a quick reference tool for my students. Because I have had to find other means for attaching them to the concrete walls in my classroom, since the adhesive is not as firm as I would prefer, I am considering having them laminated. All in all, I recommend these for enhancing the classroom.
