Wera - 05073984001 - Magnetiser, demagnetiser, 9514 ESD Magnetiser SB, 64.6 mm

I’ve used this to magnetized screwdrivers, drill, bits, screws, it seems like so many things. Allen wrench, anything that I can magnetize and it works. I really didn’t think it was gonna demagnetize very well, but I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly that part works as well. It gives you two ways to demagnetize. The whole at one end and then an intention on the other end. Magnetizing, it only takes a few swipes back-and-forth and whatever you’re trying to magnetize is magnetized and really well. I magnetized that screwdriver and I could immediately pick up a lot of screws that were able to be picked up by magnet. I immediately stuck the screwdriver through the hole at the top and went back-and-forth two or three times and then tried to pick up the same screws and it only picked up a few because the screws themselves were magnetized not because the screwdriver was. So I got a new set of screws that hadn’t been magnetized and I tried it again to run the screwdriver through the demagnetizer just twice, and it would not pick up a single screw. It really comes in handy and it works extremely well.. So the size fits in your hand and it’s not too heavy, but you can tell it’s good quality.

I have managed to live into my 60’s without a Magnetiser. I have lived through many struggles with small screws. Finally, I discover the magnetiser! Magnetism is one of the basic forces of nature, take advantage of it. The magnetiser is an essential tool, and this one works very well.

This did not work as advertised, not a single screwdriver was able to hold a screw of even the smallest size you can imagine for more than 2 seconds.

It does what is intended, but just after a couple of screwdrivers it’s already quite scratched up, and it’s not only on the surface but quite deep scratches. The surface could have been made of harder material.

It's a cute little thing. Very lightweight since it's basically two pieces of magnet glued together in two pieces of plastic. Plastic doesn't feel cheap, your usual industrial-grade-like plastic. Shape reminds of their screwdriver's handles. Does the job extremely well - both magnetizing and demagnetizing. Move along the black/green side to magnetize, move along the bottom to demagnetize. Simple, efficient and cheap. A must have for anyone working with electronics. Highly recommend.

No sé si soy yo. Tal vez algo estoy haciendo mal. Pero imantisan ( no sé si se dice así). Muy poco. Tanto a desarmadores de precisión como desarmadores más grandes.
