Works but leaks!
This device works!!! Takes the sand out of my well water before it goes into the pressure tank and on to my sprinkler system. BUT, it started a slow leak after 2-3 months at a factory-sealed seam between the inlet/outlet dome and the funnel-shaped tank. It’s past the date to return it or get a refund. I contacted the company, and they said it was not covered because I bought it through Amazon. GGGgggrrr… it cost me $150 to replace the part. Not a happy shopper… 😵💫

Unboxing Hydrocyclone
Received the IrrigationKing RKHC225 Plastic Hydrocyclone Sand Separator, 110 GPM, 2" promptly. Outer box damaged as the inner box was just bouncing around inside the outer box, no peanuts or airbags. Does not appear to be damaged. There are no instructions in the box. I called Irrigation King and the support staff was very friendly and very helpful, albeit, no instructions exist; no YouTube installs, nothing at all. You would think the distributor (Irrigation King) would press the manufacturer to provide install instructions and an operating manual. Support person provided the basics over the phone, such as bolt size, flange requirements. However, there is no guidance on mounting the product. Once mounted, it will be heavy because it will be filled with water, so some guidance would be appreciated. I'm a handyman, jack of all trades, expert at nothing, so instructions help me from doing an install two or three times before getting it right. Anyway, off I go to the hardware store to buy all the little things that a handyman like me always forgets!
