SEEIN Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder from Jeju Korea Premium First Harvest 3.52oz - USDA Certified

I buy ceremonial blend products and have experimented with several high end ceremonials as well. I prefer matcha served as a cold latte and like a brilliant green tea that doesn't require a lot of sugar to mask the bitterness of low end products. For this purpose, my first bag of SEEIN Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder from Jeju Korea is excellent. The color could be slightly darker green, but it's still very good and the product appears fresh with a nice aroma when I open the package. It also mixes better than some of the ceremonial blends that I've tried. The aroma carries through to the flavor and the product I received is not bitter at all. I'm already placing an order for 2 additional pouches, so I may modify this review later commenting on the consistency of quality received. Right now, I rate it highly for lattes.

I have recommended this matcha to so many people, I absolutely love it! The flavor is nice and strong. It feels like a really good quality powder though I am no expert. It blends so well! I’ve never really had issues with it clumping like I have with other brands. It even dissolves in room temperature water. I actually need more right now but it’s been sold out for a while! This has happened in the past too so I should have stocked up when I could. But I’m not surprised because it’s just a testament to how great it really is. The amount of caffeine is perfect for me. I find it quite effective in keeping my energy up all day.

This is my second purchase. First time bought based on customer reviews and the outstanding price. Was very pleased - great taste, I drink it every day, usually in the morning. At first, I was making the Starbucks Iced Matcha Latte, tried both regular Vanilla Syrup and Sugar-Free Vanilla Syrup (just as good), but decided to stop drinking sugar and sugar substitutes, so tried just iced Matcha tea -- I may never have another iced Matcha Latte. I love the taste. So, with my second purchase, I bought 2. New packaging that I really like, still holds 3.67oz organic ceremonial matcha. May be my imagination but the tea does not taste the same, not as good as the 1st time I bought it. I have tried different strengths. Before I open the 2nd bag from this purchase I may buy a different highly rated brand to compare.

The taste is excellent after having tried many matcha powders from Japan. This one from Jeju, South Korea is not only great quality, the texture, freshness and the blending are amazing. I use 2 teaspoons which is 4 servings for a matcha latte since I like a strong matcha flavor. Pictured is a strawberry matcha latte. You gets good consistent stream of energy as well. Make sure to give it a try!

There’s almost like a fish oil flavor at the end of each sip. I’ve never experienced that with my usual matcha tea brand. It’s a bit grittier than my other brand too, even after using my electric stick matcha mixer.

I was looking for Korean matcha powder since I don't like Japanese matcha. This melts pretty well with hot and cold water with mini stainless steel whisk instead of bamboo one. The flavor is strong enough to make green tea latte at home. The price is also excellent that I can use enough to make a strong matcha latte. The only disappointment is they only carry one type of matcha powder. I checked their website and they actually carry different types of matcha and other green tea but I can't find them anywhere. Please sell those in Amazon as well.

I thought I pretty much disliked matcha green tea because of its bitterness, but have discovered that the matcha I'm not fond of by itself is the culinary grade. This ceremonial grade matcha completely changed my mind with its mild taste and smooth texture. After reading yet another article extolling its health virtues, I decided to give matcha another go. Looking on Amazon I noticed that some teas were designated "culinary" and others, "ceremonial". After looking up the difference and reading reviews, I settled on this brand because it was the most reasonably priced and had good reviews. I'm glad to say, I wasn't disappointed, and so wanted to add my vote of approval with this review.

I have wanted to find a good alternative matcha that is within my budget and this is the perfect choice I found in the end. Most other varieties either have no flavour, or very bitter after taste. This one did not disappoint me at all and is very close to another previous favourite brand that had ran out of stock, and this one is much more cost efficient. All my matcha anxieties have been resolved! Thank you!

Really enjoying this matcha. I find it quite mellow, not as strong or "umami"as some of the others I have tried. I have taken one star off because I have found it a little harder to mix without getting clumps (they do blend in after a good mix). This is a Korean Matcha and very well priced at the time of purchase. I felt it was good value for money.
