Bigme inkNote Color + Ereader 10.3" 150 PPI Display Kaleido 3 Eink Tablet for Ebook Reading and Notes Taking

I’d already tried a Kindle Scribe, which was very nice but seemed pricey considering how limited in functionality it was. So I had really high hopes for this. An Android colour e-ink device could theoretically run various ebook formats (in my case I was looking to use the Kindle app and the local library’s app.) A much larger screen than my Paperwhite. On top of that, the ability to record voice memos etc. Basically, it sounded like a reasonable tablet but with the nice easy-on-the-eyes e-ink screen. Unfortunately, I found the screen quality to be totally lacking. The text seemed less than crisp, and not at all easy to read. The Kindle app kept crashing out. I couldn’t even get the library app to install. The Overall, it just wasn’t enjoyable to use, and at that price point, it needed to be.

As an avid reader and a lover of convenience, I've always been drawn to the ease of electronic readers, allowing me to seamlessly transition from one book to another or effortlessly search through my library for a forgotten gem. While I've owned various e-readers over the years, none have really give me the same level of satisfactory reading and writing experience as this one. I really like the dazzling 10.3-inch E Ink Kaleido 3 display - the colours look vibrant and yet, natural and the text reads very crisp. The high refresh rate makes it very comfortable on eyes and I could lose myself in the book in a comolete immersive experience - it felt more like I'm turning physical pages rather than navigating a digital screen. The color aspect truly sets this e-reader apart from the rest. Now, I can personalize my reading experience by color-coding my highlights for definitions, quotes, facts, and other key takeaways. This innovative feature has transformed the way I absorb information, allowing me to make meaningful connections and retain details more effectively. The Bigme InkNote Color+ doesn't just excel in reading; it also excels in writing. The included stylus has elevated my note-taking experience, enabling me to scribble down thoughts, doodle ideas, and annotate passages with a natural, pen-on-paper feel. The wide range of colors available allows me to express myself creatively, adding a visual dimension to my notes and making them more memorable. I have had no problems with this Bigme tablet and can whole heartedly recommend it to others. It is really a great gadget and perhaps, the best you can get in the space of color eReaders.

I bought this device for work and personal use as I was experiencing a lot of eye strain. The current state of the product, after a series of software updates, is excellent. The note taking functionality is great, issues like ghosting have massively improved due to new AI screen cleaning, and new anti-shake even makes watching YouTube videos viable at a push. Battery life is excellent, and the form factor is great, very light and slim making it very comfortable for tablet or journal use. Screen has a textured, paper like feel when writing with the wacom stylus.

Works fine, but totally overpriced. Colours are washed out. Best wait for a better colour reader at a lower price.

I had been very interested in the developments of colour eReaders and finally decided to buy the Bigme inkNote Color + tablet to find out how well the Kaleido 3 eink technology works in practice. I am very happy with my purchase - the colour screen means I can read lots of content like pdfs, magazines and comics that can't be viewed properly with black and white ereaders. In addition the ability to use the pen to take notes and mark on comments works well - as I teach and have a lot of marking to do this is great - the screen stays easy to view whether in daylight (thanks to eink) or I can use it in the dark (thanks to the backlighting). As well as being a great ereader and note taking device its a full android tablet so I can install a range of apps that let me access magazines, library lending, and my purchased ebooks regardless of where I have purchased them from.

Ces derniers jours, j'ai pu tester plusieurs liseuses : Boox Ultra C Pro (retournée) Celle-ci Boox Tab Ultra Air 3C Spoiler : j'ai décidé de garder la Air 3C ! Un point commun à toutes ces liseuses : elles avaient au moins un pixel mort dès la réception. C’est malheureusement un problème fréquent avec cette technologie, donc ne vous arrêtez pas à ça. Concernant Bigme par rapport à Boox : c’est vrai que Bigme inclut des accessoires comme une housse et un lot de pointes de stylet de rechange sans surcoût, mais… la qualité est franchement médiocre. Le stylet, qui fait aussi pointeur laser, télécommande Bluetooth et presque friteuse, donne une impression bon marché. Mais le vrai problème, c’est le logiciel Bigme : une aberration, qui se ressent directement sur la qualité d’image. Même si les trois liseuses utilisent la même dalle, le rendu de l’écran (qui dépend beaucoup du logiciel) n’a absolument RIEN à voir entre Bigme et Boox. En conclusion : oubliez les appareils Bigme et soyez indulgents avec Boox malgré quelques défauts. Elles restent les meilleures en termes de qualité et d’expérience utilisateur.

COMPRADA Y DEVUELTA: 1.- Colores apagados. No sirve para leer cómics ni de broma. Ahora mismo, los cómics tienen un coloreado espectacular, y en esta tablet parece que estás viendo un tebeo de los años 30. Ni un solo color sale mínimamente bien representado: da igual la configuración. Las he probado todas, alterados los parámetros. Nada. Colores penosos. Ni el manga se ve bien, porque no hay contrastes intensos blanco-negro. Pésimo. 2.- Duración de la batería: Fatal. Con poco uso, como tengas que encender la luz del dipositivo (algo casi obligado, porque el fondo es grisáceo), aun en modo avión te dura tres días a lo sumo. 3.- Durabilidad: Pésima. Con sólo quince días de uso, y no más de 2 horas diarias empleándola, ya me ha aparecido una raya negra horizontalmente cruzando la pantalla que no se quita (no es cuestión de refresco de la pantalla). Eso me pasó con otro ereader y cuando sucede ya puedes ponerte en lo peor: va a más. Pagar este dinero por tal producto es inasumible. Al final, si quieres navegar por internet necesitas una tablet con pantalla led; si quieres leer un cómic o cualquier publicación con imágentes, lo mismo; si quieres dibujar, otro tanto... Así que sólo vale para leer libros. Y pagar 600 euros para eso, cuando por la décima parte puedes tener un ereader más manejable, no merece la pena. Ah, y encima, en un ereader tipo pearl se lee muchísmo mejor, porque tiene más contraste blanco y negro. En este otro el fondo es siempre de un gris plomizo que obliga a tener constantemente la luz del dispositivo activada para poder leer.

Preso attirato dalle caratteristiche che più mi interessavano ossia colori (per la lettura dei pdf e annotazioni) e poi per la funzione di trascrizione dei meeting, nulla da dire dal punto di vista della scrittura ma purtroppo OCR e trascrizioni live dei meeting nonostante il settaggio della lingua italiana e del global handwriting non sono riuscito a farlo funzionare, i meetings venivano si registrati ma la trascrizione live erano parole inglesi inventate poi le note, la funzione OCR praticamente non riconosce alcuna parola scritta in italiano…almeno questa la mia esperienza e mi dispiace perché il dispositivo merita per i materiali e la leggerezza ma per le due funzioni principale per cui l’ho acquistato un vero dramma…purtroppo a malincuore ho dovuto fare il reso. Nuovamente alla ricerca di un tablet e-ink a colori che abbia funzioni di trascrizione delle riunioni.

Super InkReader mit Tabletfunktion mit Farbdisplay. Hervorragend zum Lesen, für Notizen und zum Zeichnen geeignet. Es ist sogar möglich Videos darauf anzusehen. Die Qualität lässt zwar zu wünschen übrig, aber es geht. Der Akku schwächelt außerdem relativ 4 xxschnell, wenn man Online spielt, aber der Reader kann wirklich wie ein Tablet verwendet werden. Ein sehr schönes Teil, mit dem ich viel Freude habe.
