Great Tool and material.
Exactly what was needed to get job done with wind screens still on fence. Made it so nice not to have to remove to repair.

It worked just fine.
It was easy enough to use & squeeze the parts together after punching the holes. Some other reviewers said the grommets didn't cut through whatever they were trying to grommet. They're not designed to do that. THAT'S why you use the PUNCHES first to make a hole of the correct size THEN use the grommet tool. Some people just can't follow directions.

The hole punch doesn’t cut the material very well, the grommets and tool are working good when I get a good hole cut.

So easy to use and did a nice job Attaching the grommets.

Was unsure about buying but the tool gets the job done. I had to customize tarps and re-seamed the cut edges with Gorilla Duct Tape and put grommets on using this tool. The tool punched out the centre of the Gorilla tape while fastening the grommet on. Made the job easy.

I bought this to repair a tarp. The main issue is that the tool relies upon the grommet edge to punch the hole. Even in 1 layer of plastic tard it only punched the hole 1/4 of the time. Usually the grommet was set anyways and I could tear out the hole by hand afterwards (or just leave the flap in the hole). Of note: 1) The kit comes with a hole punch that you can hammer, but this will require you to remove the tarp from wherever it is to use it, so was not useful for my situation. 2) Even though the images imply that it comes with 2 different sizes of grommets, it only comes with the big ones. The tool would not have worked for the smaller ones anyways. 3) Don't even bother to try to get through 2 or more layers of tarp Overall it got the job done so I am happy, but a tool that punches the holes better would have been an improvement. The case is nice too.
