Converting to English measures is not always easy but lots of good recipes

Comprehensive, but very American
Some tremendous recipes, but very American so some of the terminology is difficult and the occasional ingredient obscure. Otherwise a useful companion to the food processor

Delivers What it Says on the Cover
There are basic tips for the actual use of a food processor, most of which even a newbie like myself will already know. Most of it is common sense anyway, such as knowing that the whisk attachment is only for eggs and cream, anything heavier requires the steel blade or the dough tool. I mainly wanted this book for inspiration and different things to get the best out of my machine and this it delivers in spades. I have used a couple of recipes already and am sure to be trying out a lot more in the future. It is an American publication but these days it is easy enough to convert the measurements and most people know what the American term for certain items is. If not, Google is your friend.

American Measurements
Although this book is very good, with plenty of recipes and information, ALL the recipes are made up with American measurements ie. cups etc.. So we put it straight into a charity shop, someone might like it!

A little disappointed
A little disappointed, probably more my fault than the book. It is American which I should have expected I suppose. The machines used a different to the Kenwood I have and a lot of the Ingres are unavailable.

Recipe instructions are great for a novice cook and baker.
Excellent instructions…I love that recipes recommend the number of pulses. This is a great feature for a novice.

This is a FANTASTIC cookbook!
When my 40 year old food processor finally decided to die, I purchased a spiffy new processor and decided to replace my 40 year old food processor cookbooks with a spiffy new all-inclusive cookbook too! So out with the old, in with the new! I've had this book for a little over a week and already tried a number of the recipes. The other day I used the Fast and Easy Pizza Dough recipe to come up with a deep dish gluten free pizza. I used our ramekins and pressed the dough into those, then partially baked the dough until it was just starting to turn brown. Then I added my toppings, put the ramekins back in the oven and finished baking. If you know anything about gluten free dough you know it's hard to work with and you don't always get great results, but using gluten free flour, the recipe in this book gave me a delicious crust that was crispy on the outside, yet soft inside. Yesterday I tried the Potato Leek Cheese Soup and it was amazing! Last week my husband tried the Macadamia-Crusted Salmon and we really enjoyed it! With 650 fabulous recipes and being forced to pretty much stay home and come up with exciting meals during the current pandemic, we expect to be happily busy for quite a while! Don't worry that there aren't a lot of fancy color photos in this book. Wouldn't you rather spend your money on a lot of great recipes than pretty pictures? We would! Oh by the way, I also found that the "Tips" included in some of the recipes were very helpful!
