Good product.
Sticks well, don't over mist surface as it will create air bubbles (my fault). Sticks well, and does block sun. Not too dark that you can't see through once it is applied. I will order more for other windows. Good quality.

More water = much easier installation - HUGE improvement in blocking heat
Update — I did all of the windows on the porch, and the ambient temperature dropped significantly. I have one of those temperature infra-red tools and aimed it at windows on another part of our place that was getting the same sun at the same time as these windows. The temperature of the glass in the evening western sun was 124 degrees (just sitting there baking and all of that heat was transferring inside), and that part of the building is really hot inside. I then aimed the reader at the windows with the film, and the glass was reading only 92 degrees. (Keep in mind that the film is on the inside of the glass, so the sun is still heating up the glass, but that heat is reflecting back out, so the inside of the glass was only 92 degrees.) This means there's about a 30 degree difference between the two areas, and the only difference is one set of windows has this film on them and the other set doesn't. What that has meant is that I'm running the a/c a *lot* less and it's actually getting too cold in there sometimes… in July… in New Orleans. So this film has really impressed me. I like that my neighbors can't see in during the day, also. There is some visibility at night from outside, but that's marked clearly on the packaging. Read further for the original review and tips. We have French doors in our sunroom / dining / living area here in New Orleans, and it was like an oven. The (big) mini-split wasn't even keeping up, and it was miserable. We are not able to change the windows due to historic requirements, and I didn't want to have to close the curtains all day and miss out on the view. But the sun was baking my plants (not to mention us). This film really freaking works. I tested it out on the side that gets full western sun first—it's blazing hot there, and the drop in temperature was significant. I'm adding the film to the rest of the room and now the A/C isn't having to kill itself—it's staying comfortable, even before I finish the rest. (The long wall gets morning sun, which is also an issue. I feel like the room will be very comfortable once it's all done.) TIPS: I struggled a little bit at first getting the film to lay flat, but the instructions literally say, "more water, more better" (lol), and honestly, that's true. When you clean the panes, make sure you dry them really well before adding the water and film, because if there's window cleaning product still on there, you may get bubbles. While the seller does include a little (decent) utility knife and water spritzer with each bottle, if you're like me and doing a bunch of windows, make your life easier and use a larger spray bottle and really good utility knife—the install went smoother / faster when I switched to better tools. I think if you're just doing a couple of panes, then what they include would be fine. I didn't like the little plastic squeegee sticks they included, mostly because they're skinny and harder to hold. I purchased a cheap decoupage squeegee from Amazon (I think it was maybe $4 for two) and it has a nice pad on the grip and is much much easier to use. Again, if you're only doing a couple of windows, then what they include may be enough. If you get bubbles, it's easy to lift the film, re-spray the water and then lay it back down. I found that (so far), it's clung really well. Sometimes I'll have issues on the very edges (not sure why), but a quick partial lift of the film, more water, and then it goes back down easily. The only thing I dislike about it is kinda silly — there's a clear film that you pull off before you install. (It doesn't affect the film's ability to cling—I think it's just there for protection until you're ready to install, maybe?) There's a tab at the top of the roll to separate that clear protective layer (and it's easy to pull off), but once you've cut the film into panels like I had to do, each next "panel" didn't have a tab (of course) and getting that film to separate from the clear cover was kinda a pain. (Like opening medicine tablet covers that just.do.not.want.to.seperate.) Lol, not a bad thing, and there's probably a simple fix I'm overlooking, but for all of the positive, I didn't think this one negative was enough to ding it in the rating. In my photos, the long wall shows you the color on the right as the "before" and then color on the left as the "after" so you can see how much the film tints your view. I like it—real life looks better than the photo does. (I'm working left to right in the room, hence the order you see in the first photo.) The second photo was taken with the western sun beaming in, after the film was installed. Hope this helps.

Privacy
This privacy window film is exactly what I needed! It was easy to install and provides excellent privacy during the day while still letting in natural light. From the outside, it has a sleek mirrored effect, but from the inside, I can see out perfectly. It’s a great way to improve privacy without blocking the view or having to use heavy curtains. The adhesive is strong, and the film stays in place well. Can be easily removed and functions well be reused. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for an affordable and effective privacy solution.

Trouble sticking
I watched videos and read instructions thoroughly. Cleaned and prepped window as instructed. Application was relatively simple but would have been easier with two people. I thought it was going to work great on our upstairs west facing window to block heat and not the view. However, it started falling off about 4 hours later. I reapplied it with copious water. It fell again. So now I’ve taped it up till the end of the heat the. Will remove and do something else next year. It darkens the room some but still provides light and is pretty transparent. We live in the middle of no where so the privacy isn’t something I’ve paid attention to. Overall, would not purchase again as much as I wanted it to work.

Not good
I bought the black/silver. I have hung a few of these before. For a 30 inch ish by 63 inch ish window. Now that was quite the challenge but I did a fine job getting bubbles out and it looked good. The crater looks indents on the film, we're impossible to get worked out. Super disappointed on the exterior turn out. Oh it did the job as far as not seeing in BUT it had a foggy weird look to it. Looked cheap and like crap. Not how I thought it should look. So I just ripped the crap off the window and trashed it. What a waste of 30 bucks. Zero stars from me !!!!!! ( just my experience and opinion )

Works very well - hard to install
We bought a glass security door without realizing since we are south facing it would magnify the heat x 10000000. Seriously. Every morning we woke up to a horrible strong odor from the paint on the door burning, our Christmas wreath LITERALLY melted. An expensive $150 wreath and it completely melted. Door handles too hot to touch and our floor inside the house too hot to stand on in bare feet if we left the door open as we had to because of burning paint smell. This fixed all of it. Almost no heat comes through the film. It works exactly as advertised. HOWEVER - be warned it is HARD to install. My husband used to tint car windows for a living and expected this to be a piece of cake. It was not. This film is THICK. It took over 24 hours Laing flat to even be ready to be installed. He also had to use hair dryer several times during installation. He ended up needing to completely remove the glass from the frame to correctly install, then reinstalled the glass. It took him probably an hour, AFTER the film layer weighted for over a day. But it works! Also in case you missed it in the description, if you have the one that blocks people from seeing in during the day, it does only work during the day and people can see in at night if your lights inside are on.
