Great Sound
Great sound for a small speaker. It fits in my tote bag or on my desk without taking up room. Produces higher quality sound as expected from Skullcandy. It was simple to pair with my phone and tablet.

Big sound, small speaker. Decent bass.
I use this at work. I work alone in a small kitchen in the back of a gas station. I hang this on a hook above my prep table while I'm working. There are refrigerator and freezer buzzes and two ovens that are constantly on all day and I can hear this speaker over all of it. Surprising amount of sound comes out of such a small and affordable speaker. Decent bass, don't expect the world obviously but good enough bass. It's worth the money.

Excellent Battery Life for the Price Point
Let’s just clear things up. This is NOT a high end, high fidelity speaker. This is a portable, hang it off your bag and go do stuff (hike, bike, beach day , etc.) kind of speaker. I used a Roku remote as a size reference. The size is acceptable, I hang it off my backpack when I go hiking. I’m not too found of the diaphragm and the dust cap on the rear of the speaker though (I’ve had a few small things get jammed in it, it couldn’t have hurt SkullCandy to put a mesh grill on the back of the speaker if they were going to design the speaker like this). The video initially was recording music off a phone at 50% volume, then cranked it to 73% - it struggled a bit, so this little thing is happy at a 50% to 65% volume medium. Overall, its a good speaker. I’m happy with it, I’m not blasting my speakers to the point I’m annoying other people on the trails. It’s durable as heck and the battery life is great! For those complaining about the bass and the volume, a JBL Clip 4 runs nearly 2 and half times the price of this little guy (at the time of this writing)…does one expect a Toyota Corolla to operate like a BMW M3?

Great Sound
I've had several sub $50 Bluetooth speakers and this is by FAR the best sounding. What it's good for: Listening to music in a single room Camping Driving/Biking What it's not: For pool/house parties Replacement for a home stereo PC sound system As far as volume goes it's plenty loud. I personally don't use it above 50% and it's crystal clear. It has a tiny subwoofer on the bottom i thought surely had to be a gimmick. It's not and you can feel it pushing from a few inches away. It's worth noting that it will only sound as good as the signal you feed it. So if you don't take the time to set the EQ to a range that's optimal for your personal taste it will probably sound bad. I got this on "sale" for $25 and feel it is an amazing value. The Kilo is basically the same with a bigger battery... I only need to charge mine once a week so the Kilo seems a bit overkill..... Plus the ounce fits very comfortably in the palm.., kilo might not. Buying any other cheap speaker seems foolish after owning this
