Does the job
Love this vac, really powerful and maintains suction even with extension. The on/off could be better designed and the filters are a bit pricey. Water clouds a bit but aquarium filter soon clears it. The colour of the filters after cleaning the tank show how good this machine is. A real must in keeping gravel clean.

They do the job!
I bought these with a Fluval Pro-Vac gravel cleaner. The filter in the cleaner can become full quite quickly. With a couple of spare filters, I can perform an immediate filter swap and then rinse them all once the aquarium has been cleaned. The filters won't last forever but easily withstand a rinse and clean under a tap.

Don't forget, they are washable!
Its kind of expensive to keep up with these filters, I rinse off and re-use them a few times once they get clogged up. For the device itself, while nice looking I personally find the suction of these systems leaves a little to be desired, pretty hard to clean sand with it. I also found the little tabs at the bottom of the suction pipe snapped off over time, not the best quality.

Does the job
I wish these were a slightly snugger fit into the holder, as some does leak out of the ends. I experimented trying to fill this gap, but in the end just vaccing a bit longer they will eventually get filtered, and it is probably the actual holder that needs a bit of redesign.

Must Have!
Since changing the substrate from sand to gravel in our aquarium, using the provac has been amazing. It picks up and retains the smallest of particles. It’s a shame it’s disposable so not green for the planet but I can’t imagine cleaning all the sludge it collects!
