The reviews that stated this vacuum will suck itself to the floor are true. It has monster suction. On its highest setting it will still suck itself down on my carpet at times. It will also pull more dirt from your carpets than youve ever seen, yes the decals will peel off after a few months too. I think this would be a good vacuum for an older person as it is extremely light weight except for the sucking itself down to the floor may be an issue as it takes some effort to get it loose or just shut it off and restart. Very easy to remove and dump the canister. You do have a little assembly to do before using, 4 or 5 phillips screws to install the upper handle assy. When using the hose and attachments you have to turn a knob to the hose position then turn it back when you want floor suction. Before you start to vacuum you will need to pick up anything you dont want wrapped up in the brush roller as this thing is a Monster. You cant drive over the vacuum wire with this vacuum as it will be damaged in seconds its a Monster. Cant leave leave it sitting on your carpet long while using the hose and attachments because the brush doesnt stop turning when you bring it up into a locked position you will have no carpet in that location. I lay the vacuum on its back when I use the hose or just pick it up with one hand vacuum with the other. Its a very plain looking vacuum and may appear cheap but so far has held up well its a Monster. This is a very manual vacuum that has Tremendous suction it does leave rows in your carpet if you have the carpet height setting real low. You DO NOT want to run over any extension cords or anything with this vacuum its a Monster. Overall I really like this vacuum, I would purchase again in a second but its a Monster becareful with it it could suck your cat or small dog up into it in a split second because its a Monster. Good Luck! UPDATE: OK after having this vacuum for awhile I still like it but it still sucks itself down to the carpet and makes it very hard to push and pull. I have found something that makes this not so bad. The knob in which you turn to transfer suction from the hose to the floor and vice versa dont turn it all the way to the floor suction setting let it suck through the hose a little and it still has plenty of suction to pick up most anything on your floor but not suck itself down. You can fine tune where the knob needs to be just before it starts to suck itself down and make a mark with a sharpie on the white housing where the pointer is pointing that way you know where to set it each time. Hope this is helpful for some. ANOTHER UPDATE: Ive had this vacuum now for 3 years, it still works perfectly. However the brush is starting to wear a little and now I have to adjust the setting lower but thats ok I still Love it. No problems whatsoever. Do not be affraid to purchase this vacuum as it is well worth the price in my opion.

Love the suction on this vac. Picks up as well as my shark navigator lift away and so far clogs less. Very easy to assemble. Vacuum can suction so hard to the carpet that it is a definite workout to move. And the clips on the collection tank make it seem cheaply made; However, I’m not judging the book by its cover because it performs like a champ. I have 4 large dogs, so you can imagine they create an extra dog with all the shedding not to mention the dirt and sand that gets tracked in. This is not a self propelled vacuum, but it is everything I need in a superior sucking machine. And the attachments and hose extender are very easy to use. Super happy to have this vacuum and not just for the price.

Ok got this vacuum because I felt like the one I had wasn’t cutting it. And WOW I’m so glad I upgraded. This vacuum is so powerful even set to medium the suction sticks it to the floor I had a work out from pushing it around a small room. It’s easy to assemble. And no one else in the house knew I was even using it it was so quiet. After using it I was so disgusted with what it picked up. It’s obvious my old vacuum was just not working well enough because the picture included is what this vacuum picked up after its second pass over the room.

I spent several days researching and going through countless reviews for vacuum cleaners here on Amazon. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just something to get the job done for a decent price. Well I saw this and read the reviews and they seemed great! I couldn't believe I stumbled upon such a great deal for a great vacuum such as this! Shipping was fast and I was so excited to try it! My apartment is about 900 square feet of regular carpet, not shag or thick like a rug. Assembly was easy enough and within 10 minutes it was plugged in and I started with the guest bedroom where there's not a lot of traffic. Well, there was no vacuum lines, just wheel marks and when I checked the canister to see how much dirt/hair it got there was nothing. Okay well maybe because there's not a lot of use in this room. Fast forward and I do my bedroom and living room where there's lots of traffic, and still NOTHING. I had the suction set to the highest setting, went through and checked to make sure I put it together correctly, even tried it on a rug! And still nothing! I have 2 cats and when I used my Dyson I had to empty the canister 3 times when I'd vacuum my apartment. This vacuum didn't get a single crumb of cat litter, no dirt..only a few of my long hairs. It was incredibly frustrating because the reviews were amazing! So don't waste your money or time with this, it literally picks up nothing. I'm not sure if I received a defective one or not but even after going through the troubleshooting it still picked up nothing. Tried to get a refund and return it but all I received was half credit back on my Amazon account even though I only used it once and scrubbed it clean just to make sure any dust was gone. I ended up going to Walmart and buying the Bissel Cleanview Swivel Pet Bagless Vacuum and spent only about 30$ more than this and that thing is amazing! Works even better than the $500 Dyson I had and has all the attachments.

This is by far the best vacuum I’ve owned, usually you get what you pay for but in this case for less than $100 how powerful it is. I’ve owed many but this is the best and even better than a Dyson or Hoover. I own a personal cleaning business and my Hoover broke 5times and that was $400. I love that it’s light to use and the suction power is super strong that I get stuck to the floor sometimes. Super easy to use, not expensive at all, and love blue/white combo. If you want a powerful vacuum and not spend too much then this is perfect for you! Sorry Dyson and Hoover you lost the battle to vacmaster vacuum.

Giving this product a 3 stars for now. I purchased and received this vacuum less than two weeks ago. I was super excited to use it due to the reviews. It is ABSOLUTELY amazing. The suction is absolutely amazing. It does NOT stick to the carpet like other reviews state. BUT, it consistently sucks dirt and dust up out of my carpet every single day which is exactly what I was looking for. It was super simple to assemble and it's size is perfect. The HUGE downfall and reason for the poor 3 star rating is that, this morning as I am mid vacuum it just shut off. COMPLETELY SHUT OFF AND WILL NOT TURN BACK ON! The belt and everything else is ok and intact. Considering I have only used this vacuum four times, today being the fifth, and NOTHING that could damage or harm the vacuum has ever been picked up(no large or sharp object, no water, and never run over damp spaces), theres no reason the motor should be the cause. EXTREMELY UPSET is a total understatement, right now. I am now out a vacuum, and do not have the means or ability to just go buy another.

Works great! Gets up pet hair and whatever else is on the carpet.
