One of the best sour candies on the market!
The first time I tried these I received them as a Christmas gift and devoured them much faster than I'm proud to admit haha. I immediately hoped on Amazon to purchase some more, but they were unavailable for quite some time. Over the past few months I've tried every other brand's attempt of these glorious sour balls of joy and no other brand came close. Most of the other brand's half the bag would be filled with the white center stuff and not the colored outter shells were all the fruit flavor is or they'd be broken into little pieces. That won't happen with the space age sours, they're perfect every time as shown in the picture. If you love sour candy half as much as I do then you'll love these things, but beware, once you open that bag good luck closing it before they all end up in your gullet!

SOUR
A good deal more sour than other brands, which is exactly what I wanted.

Yummy!
These are so good!! I also purchased the regular skittles pack and they are just as good. They are crunchy. You can easily keep popping them into your mouth and before you know it, they are gone! 😁 They are a little pricey, but it’s good for a treat.

Good candy
Too sour for me but my boyfriend liked them saying they weren’t sour enough 😂 (he still liked them) It depends on your sour tolerance I guess 🤷♀️

Awesome taste!
The Sour Skittles, in their original form, are known for their intense sour punch, and the freeze-dried version takes it to the next level. The freeze-drying process amplifies the sourness, delivering an electrifying burst of tanginess that's impossible to resist. Each bite is a delightful explosion of sour flavors. Beyond just snacking, freeze-dried Sour Skittles have found their way into my creative culinary endeavors. I've used them as crunchy toppings for ice cream, yogurt, and even baked goods. The possibilities for incorporating these delightful morsels into your favorite recipes are endless.

Tasty but only a few at a time
The freeze drying of this candy is really a delightful thing, for a light crunch. The sourness comes from the dusting of citric acid, something I like to use myself in moderation (really great as a light dusting on popcorn to give it some bite). The down side to dusting citric acid is it can become a great irritant to your upper mouth and tongue if you have more than a few pieces at a time. Were it processed and incorporated into the candy, rather than dusted on the outside of it, it would be even better. I also expected more than I got in the $10.00 bag, it's not a great value. Compare the 4 ounces of this to, for example, the 9 ounce bag of Sweetarts Chewy Fusion Candy (Yes heavier but just as many pieces), for $3.50 and you don't get that hit of direct citrus acid in your mouth, it is baked into the sour parts and it's also delicious. So you can really chomp down on these if you so desire for that hit of sour without irritating your mouth. This candy idea has great potential, but it irritates me too much to re-order. If you are like me, and like to not just eat it straight away, but like to savor it in your mouth and take in the flavor, it's not fun with the direct application of citric acid.
