Simply the best still for great larder storage. Took a load of these out to the States years ago when relocating ..... The regular pest control guy commented on how super they were for keeping nasties like ants out. They are easy to use even with arthritis. Brilliant at keeping items dry and fresh. Look neat and modern in the cupboards. Transport items safely and remain waterproof - we stored and carried a special meringue dessert to a wedding and had to take from an outside car park in pouring rain but it arrived beautiful and dry!

a Good Product! Long lasting.

There's very little one can say about an air-tight container, but I'll do my best. Lock & Lock must be the highest quality air-tight containers you can get. I use them to store coffee beans, ground coffee, cheese, cookies, etc. They also appear to be water-tight, with excellent blue plastic seals that last a long time. They are translucent plastic, and the picture shown on the side of the container in the picture for this item is simply a removable insert. The sticker on the lid, however, needn't be removed. When closing the tabs down, opposite sides at a time, they emit a highly satisfying 'click' that says "I am firmly locked now". The plastic is not easily stainable, and they clean up very nicely - fresh and ready for a completely different type of food. The plastic is molded very well. Don't worry about storing smelly cheese for a while, then after a clean, storing delicate aroma coffee beans. Odours are completely removed when the container is washed properly. I would highly recommend these. The Lock & Lock products have a useful and nicely thought-out range of sizes and shapes, too. Why would you buy another make of air-tight container?!

Good quality product. But the stated dimensions are the external dimensions. I needed a box to hold 15cm square cloths, and thought this would work. However the internal dimensions are too small for this. It's a shame - essentially a good box that is no use to me!

Just logged onto Amazon looking for more of these useful boxes, and discovered I last ordered the two I have in May 2013. That means they have stoically endured life as my 11 year old's packed lunch container through four years of being dropped, sat on, flailed around as a heavy weapon within a rucksack and whatever else small boys get up to in the playground on a daily basis. They are still in perfect working order- a bit scratched and gone a bit cloudy in the dishwasher- but no broken clips or hinges and they still manage to contain his lunch. You can stack two full sized sandwiches in them ( four slices of bread) but I use for two, and use the equally good 180ml rectangular boxes to hold chopped fruit/strawberries/grapes, which fits in neatly beside them. Still room for a Penguin/Milky Way sized treat slipped in too! Also a good size for general kitchen storage, I've certainly had my moneys worth from them, and am back to invest in more.

J'utilise cette boîte pour stocker mes céréales. Bien hermétique, elle assure leur très bonne conservation. Son format la rend facile à ranger et convient parfaitement pour un paquet de 450 gr. Une découpe du logo, scotché sur un côté, permet l'identification.

Ne pas hésiter à acheter ces boîtes sans BPA qui sont très utiles dans ma cuisine. Je dois rajouter qu'elles sont "costauds" et durent dans le temps donc l'investissement vaut le coup.

Bon produit, semble solide, mais ne s'empilent pas les une sur les autres. C'est dommage car peu pratique pour le rangement
