These are made of like thick posterboard, nothing real sturdy but good enough for the party. I put them on tables flat, but afraid they may rip the back off with tape off the wall. They are a great size to read, clear print, and look like road signs. There are many in the package, so I liked the value for the money. The color yellow is bright and cheery. I recommend these.
