look and work great
We bought 4 of these helmets for the girls to go take their motorcycle class. They each reported that they like them allot and are easy to use. They really like the tinted lens that you are able to slide down for the sunny days which is great if you have prescription glasses. They look nice and are code compliant for a good price.

Great starter modular helemt
Great starter modular helemt. Let's start with the cons: weight is a bit heavier than expected. The shell isn't one of those "ultra light composite materials" (still good quality just not a 800 helemt worth of engineering in the build). It is a little noisey at freeway speeds (this is somewhat to be expected to entry level modulars). On to the pros: The pinlock works well. The viability is good (not excellent but still good). The ventilation is great. The ability to easily articulate the sun visor, face shield and chin lock for the modular portion (to flip that portion of the helemt up) is seemless and works excellently. The chin strap with quick release works well and can be done with gloves on without too much trouble. A note about using this in the heat: the ventilation is good but the liner is not "summer weight". You will need to take it out and hand wash it if you end up getting nice and sweaty in it. It happens. Be sure to pay attention to how it comes out so it goes back in the same way. Overall there is a lot more to like than dislike in this entry level modular helemt. I haven't had to "crash test" it (and hope I don't have to). Keep on mind with all modular helemts (even the really expensive ones) the chin area is not as secure as a ridged full face helmet. That section can come unattached during a crash/ brunt force impact. A full face helemt will always be safest. That being said I like this helemt. It's comfortable, works well and the bonus of modular design is super useful.

Great fit
Shape matters. My last helmet was a medium size and the shape was intermediate oval, in between full oval and full round. That said, these are all full round and the size chart said according to my head size, I should buy a large, and I did. Snug with no pressure spots. It's the quietest helmet I have ever had. I always buy budget helmets and never have worn a $700.00 helmet. DOT approved is what I look for, then fit and modular style. I am so pleased with this helmet I had to give it a review. Keep riding.

Sometimes you get what you pay for.
I'll start with the good. The look and fit are very good. I find the helmet very comfortable almost from the first time I put it on, and I have received a couple of complements on the look of the helmet. e.g. "Nice helmet, I bet you have an equally impressive bike to go with it". The sun visor is very easy to operate even with heavy gloves and works fine even with my glasses on. The clear lense and modular face section are easy to operate with either hand and on hot days, at low speeds, I can ride with the visor up to get some more air flow. As for the bad. Even with breathing through my nose during mild weather (e.g. 70F, low humidity) with the vents open, the visor fogs like thats its job. I don't think I will be able to use this helmet at all once the summer heat starts to taper off. While I like the operation of the tinted sun visor, the optical quality of the material is quite poor, I get a LOT of glare off of it and the visibility leaves a lot to be desired. Last but not least is the the inner padding and some of the other parts are held in place with very weak plastic snaps that come loose frequently and are almost impossible to reconnect without removing the helmet. As an example on one ride I opened my visor to scratch my cheek and my finger brushed against the rubber piece that is supposed to keep my breath from fogging the visor (which as mentioned above is not very effective) and it came partially detached. Luckily it did not come off completely and fly off, however I had to tuck it into the helmet in order to close the visor, and it was up hanging down inside the helmet brushing against my face until I was able to find a place to pull off the road, remove the helmet and reconnect it. I am seriously considering super glueing the snaps so it won't happen again. I am giving this 3 stars because it is a nice looking helmet at a low cost with some features normally only seen in more expensive helmets. But unless good looks at a low price are the priority, I would not recommend this helmet, and will probably replace it as soon as I can afford to.

Very lightweight, lots of good features.
Helmet is awesome. I love all the features of it. It’s lightweight, the modular function is easy to open and close, the drop-down visor works without issue, and there’s enough room to install a BT unit. I especially love the quick connect strap. It is a little tight against my cheeks, but to my understanding, the helmet shouldn’t be loose. There is a little draft that comes from underneath, which can be uncomfortable in the cold, but there’s enough room for me to wear a balaclava underneath without it being too tight. The only issue so far is that there is a rough spot that runs against my forehead if the helmet isn’t positioned just right. Other than that, it’s a great helmet for the money. It’s almost compatible to the Solaris Z1R helmet, but the quality is just a little lower. But if you’re on a tight budget, this is a good helmet to get.

Excelente, cómodo, ligero y recibido a tiempo
