Are waterproof stopwatches silent? because I need to use it in absolute silence

It is definitely NOT absolutely silent. The buttons make a somewhat low pop sound when pressed. There is no beep and no speaker. It's not a higher pitch click, but if you are sitting in a silent room (eg, during a school exam) with someone a few feet away they will be able to hear that a button was pushed. It's about the volume of tapping a pencil eraser on a desk.

Can the simple stopwatch be turned off after use?

Thanks for your question. When you don't need it, you can press and hold the middle button to turn it off.

Is this stopwatch really waterproof?

Yes, this one is very waterproof. It uses rubber diaphragm type buttons, not sliding pistons, so it's safe to push buttons even when wet. The Accusplit a601x (and models with that identical case) also has this kind of waterproofing.

Does it reset timer to zero when turned off?

Works as Advertised

I used this all summer to time my swimming in the pool. Works as advertised, no issued with water leaking or timer problems. It sits at the bottom of the pool while I swim. Size is handy and the numbers are easy to read. It is good value for the money, for a simple stop watch timer.

Not impressed

Battery life is poor, and as other reviews have indicated, is difficult to replace. Takes forever to turn on and off.

Large display easy to read

The stop watch has a large readable display. The split was a little confusing if you press it more than one it resets. The unit looks to be difficult to get to the battery compartment about 10 screws to take the back off.

Great stopwatch, allows battery change

This stopwatch does timing and splits, is water resistant, and also allows battery replacement, which is a necessity in my mind. I also like the fact that it does not "beep" when pressed. Very satisfied, and happy with the purchase. Highly recommended, and I would buy this stopwatch again.
