I originally purchased a similar cheaper product, but had to return it due to quality issues. I paid quite a bit more for this one, but at least it is a quality product and serves my needs. I bought it to use for coloring in bed at night... and most especially because of the included light. The table itself is very heavy and sturdy... and of good size. The legs are easy to open, and they stand without wobbling on my bed. You can also tilt the tabletop as needed. The light is very high quality. It has 3 brightness levels, and it can be tilted to different angles. The light can also be removed in order to charge it with the included cord. There is also a small drawer underneath that can fit a few items. I haven't needed to use it yet, but there is also a tablet stand that fits underneath the table and can be brought up to use when necessary. Seriously... they thought of everything when constructing this table. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It is of great quality.

I bought this for my wife, as she likes to sketch and read while sitting on the couch. She was using a lap pad with a beanbag type base, but it was clunky and small. This table is very well designed and sits nicely on the couch, even though her seat is a recliner that has gaps on both sides. We were specifically looking for a table that had ample hip / leg room, and this one is perfect for wider access underneath. The light is great, I love that there are no wires (other than when it's charging), and the table is very sturdy and easy to use. Lots of height adjustment, too. I'll end up getting one for myself. I never felt the need for a reading table before, but it's so easy to use an iPad or rest a book on there that I want one. It folds up very flat, less than 3" I would guess, and stores easily beside the couch. It would probably easily fit under a couch that had legs. Nice product.

This is a great desk! It's large enough for a 15"x7 Laptop and a foam non-skid mouse pad/wrist rest combo. I love that it has a detachable light; you can leave it in the holder or move it to another location that's convenient for you. The light has three levels: high, medium, and low. It also has a detachable bookstand on the bottom of the desk that can hold a book, a tablet, or your laptop. The desk and bookstand are very sturdy; there's no wobble. The desk has an adjustable height. The desk tilts, or you can leave it flat. It slides easily on the bed; it's true that you can cross your legs, even at the desk's lowest height, with the desk legs extended and tilted to the lowest setting. There's a drawer on the right side that is large enough for USB cords, pens, or pencils. I'm using it for my three cords. The desk is a little heavy, but I prefer it to be heavy rather than flimsy and easy to break. This is the best laptop desk that I have purchased. I highly recommend this to everyone who wants an excellent desk, it's worth the price!

I received this laptop table for Christmas. You can adjust the leg height, the angle of the legs, and and rotate the surface as needed. All the adjustable parts feel solid and well made. There is a built in lamp along with a charging port and cord so you can recharge this lamp from a USB port. The charger is stored in a useful little drawer on the side that can also hold pens, pencils, etc. Underneath the table, is a book stand which lays flat, and you can use if you wish. What I really like about this table is all the extra functions that are truly useful and not just some fluff to add to the cost. I write, so I know I will use this often and everywhere. Also, it doesn't feel cheap. Seems like a quality product. Time will tell.

First the flaw: there's a problem with the book holder. The restraining clamp needed to be separated into a right and left side. It's a single unit and so it doesn't work very well when you are near the beginning or the end of the book, because it is stopped by the thicker side of the book and does not press the thinner side. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Very sturdy, well-designed, flexible and functional. I didn't have a problem with the backstop that keeps the computer from sliding down; it seems to fit snugly. Of course only time will tell if everything holds up without breaking.

This lap desk is super high quality. Both the light and tablet/book stand are removable, and the tablet stand has a storage space under the desk. The top tilts to a perfect angle for drawing, writing, etc. and the way the tablet holder sits/has an edge means it won’t tip over on you when the desk is at a slight angle. Desk folds up nicely for easy storage. Sled-like legs make it easy to move around on a bed or floor. Removable edge is nice for artists or laptop users who may want it out of the way, and it also slides left (so you could have book on left and notebook on right). The edge is sized so that it can fit in the storage drawer. Really high quality product, much nicer than I expected. Minor complaint is that it’s a little heavy, but lighter materials would mean reduced quality. I don’t write a lot of reviews, and I’m super picky, but this lap desk deserves its 5 stars!

What a great laptop table. I am so impressed with the quality of this piece! I wouldn’t change anything about it. Rarely do you find a product that is so well designed, functional and well made. It requires no assembly and is simple to adjust. The light makes it useful for many different purposes!

this lap table is good. Has sturdy legs, glides easily across surface like couch, bed. Has a nice light that's bright enough. Big surface area to write on. A good buy.

I take this everywhere - and can work at almost any place I go! I can also put this on my regular desk to make a standing desk. The quality is awesome! Well made and secure. I can say enough good things about it - it’s worth every penny!

Well built, sturdy, good quality and size and I really like that it comes with a rechargeable light.
