3 days of sub-zero (f) weather & a section of our pipes froze. There was minor good news but after determining where the problem was (& no burst pipes, yay) I figured out that I needed heating tape (or cable) and found it here. It works amazingly well & was easy to use. I wish I'd bought a longer piece but this fits the exact area it was needed & I will buy more for next year. This is a really good product & it will last for many years.

Works as advertised. I used this on a 3/4" water supply line to a livestock automatic watering trough. It was on during temperatures below zero for days and the line didn't freeze as they previously had. Good solution to my problem for not much money.

This heating cable performs extremely well at keeping your water pipes from freezing.Very easy to use just run along your water pipe and secure with tape or tie straps..No more problems with freezing pipes.

Works as advertised. Know that you must wrap this cable in insulation over the pipe it is used on.

Works well. Should probably get remote control outlet so not on all the time. It did stop freezing pipes

Came back to update original review where I gave them bad remarks because one of the 2 I bought did not work. I didn’t not realize the end of the cord is a thermostat that automatically turns this on and off. As soon as I pulled one out of the box, I went outside and plugged it in and it warmed up. The other sat in the house and got warm on its own, so when I was installing that, it didn’t work. I just tossed it in the freezer and plugged it in and works great. I’m super pleased with it

Ive got a pipe in my boiler room at ground level that will freeze when it gets really cold. Gave this a try this year and am glad I did. Uses much less power than a ceramic heater and kept the pipe from freezing! Seems well made too.

I have a washer in the unheated garage so I put this along it and zip tied pipe insulation over it and it has been keeping things working. Way better option than trying to heat the space or aiming a heater at pipe and hoping for the best. Only weird thing is that when the washer first starts to fill the water is warm despite me using cold water. But as soon as the wrapped part is empty it flows cold again. I do appreciate that cat that it has its own thermometer vs having to buy a separate thermal cube to have it turn on and off depending on temps to save electricity.
