Vacuum Sealer Machine Powerful 90Kpa Precision 6-in-1 Compact Food Preservation System with Cutter, 2 Bag Rolls & 5 Pre-cut Bags, Widened 12mm Sealing Strip, Dry&Moist Modes (Silver)

I picked up this vacuum sealer after my previous FoodSaver vacuum sealer broke (2nd time this happened) and I finally got fed up and decided to give Mesliese a shot. I really like the compact size of this unit, literally 1/3 the size of my previous FoodSaver unit, it makes it so much easier to store with my limited cabinet space. The only downside (if you could even call it that) is that it doesn't have an integrated slide cutter, rather a small handheld cutter mounted on the rear of the unit. I was initially concerned about this but the hand held cutter has been perfectly adequate after going through two 8" rolls of bags and some 11" bags. The most important aspect that I love of this little unit is that is still runs/maintains a vacuum during the "Sealing" step of the process, which was where my last unit (FoodSaver) had continual problems of allowing air back into the bag while it was sealing. So far I've probably run about 40 bags through this unit and have yet to have a lost vacuum failure, and with how its designed I don't see that happening. To top it off it comes with a Five Year warranty for peace of mind. All in all a great purchase for only $70.00.

This Vacuum sealer is THE bomb. After reading 100's of reviews of dozens of Vacuum Sealers, this unit had the best ratings, and the negative reviews seem to be operator error. The included instructions are not the best, but I will give you all you need to know right here:1. Do NOT try to use the vacuum sealer without a "runway", which in the picture is a thickish wood cutting board that is the exact height of the heating element. Without this, the food will lay 2 inches below the heating element, causing the sealer bag to wrinkle, causing inconsistent sealing. Using a runway prevents this.2. Place the textured side of the sealer bag on the heating element, with smooth side facing up. I'm not sure how important this is, but it works perfectly for me.3. Place the sealer bag right up to the vacuum nozzle, but do NOT cover the nozzle (shown in the red circle). There is also a stop "tab" on the right side of the heating element, indicating a "do not pass" zone.4. Allow a good three inches (or more) from the food, which will give a wrinkle free seal, and prevent moisture from getting sucked into the vacuum nozzle (See the photo of the Aloo Gobi leftovers).That's all. I got this and a Costco Membership for myself for Christmas, bought a $160.00 Beef Tenderloin, cut it up into serving sizes, and got busy. I DO have to mention there is something weirdly satisfying about using this device, so make sure to let your family members have fun, too.Lastly - cost to use. I got side-tracked looking at how many vacuum bags come with the system. Do NOT bother. I bought the Bonsenkitchen VB3208 vacuum seal bags from Amazon for $22 for 200 - 8 x 12" bags. Not only do they perform flawlessly with this vacuum sealer, I frequently cut them in half, after first sealing the open end, reducing my cost per bag from .11 cents per bag, to less than 6 cents, so pretty much free.....I've never owned one of these before, but my food buying savings ALONE will pay for this thing is a few months, not to mention money saved on freezing leftovers, which I no longer have to fuss with finding a proper freezer contain for, and still getting terrible ice crystals in my frozen food.I'm beyond delighted with this purchase, and have received NO compensation for this review. I struggled with my Food saver vacuum sealer for years. I hated that thing. I finally just bought this because I was so fed up. Boy, do I wish I had bought this one years ago!! I'm so pleased with this vacuum sealer! It's 1/3 the size, and it works every single time without any hassle. I was slightly frustrated that this vacuum sealer does not use food saver bags, since I already had a new roll. I wish it were interchangeable, but this machine will not vacuum any air out of food saver bags. However, it works perfectly every single time with their own brand of bags.If you have a food saver machine that you're looking to replace, do it. I'm very happy with this one!

After 2 years of use my last vacuum sealer started sucking less and less, meaning it started sucking a lot more. Or something like that. Anyway, I purchased this vacuum sealer as a replacement, and so far I have been satisfied. It is a bit slower than my last sealer, and noisier, so I deducted 1 star for that. However, it still works well as an integral part of my sous vide operation. Durability has yet to be determined.

Excellent product! My first use was to pack and seal four separate steaks in the freezer and it worked well. So far so good! Seems like high quality product. Excited to have this product to store quality beef the correct way. Then as a surprise, company sent me three more rolls as a appreciation for my business.

The Mesliese vacuum sealer works great! I had the "other" brand for many years, but the replacements (due to original machine age) were not satisfactory and did not provide a reliable seal. I love this new and more compact machine!

I've owned several vacuum sealing machines over the years, but this one is the best ever! It is fast! I mean really fast! And it does the job perfectly. The first time I used it I processed 5 quarts of chili, including making bags, in less than 30 minutes. It is lightweight so that even though I have arthritis in my hands I easily can pick it up and move it from the counter to the shelf for storage.The warranty on this product goes beyond any I've ever seen. My understanding of it is that if anything goes wrong with their product during the 5 year warranty period,, they'll refund or replace the product. It doesn't get any better than that. I bought this machine during the Spring sale for a significant discount. But, even if I hadn't hit the sale, this machine is worth purchasing at the full price due to the value of the warranty and the efficiency of the product. You won't find a better product on the market. You'll be happy with this purchase.
