Clarks Women's Ashland Sweep Slip-On

I am on my feet 12+ hours a day and these shoes have been a life saver! I often have pain in my hips, lowerback, and knees because of the amount of walking and standing I do daily, but these shoes have alleviated 95% of my discomfort. They are well padded on the inside, and the strap that runs along the top of the shoe has not caused any discomfort. They look great with jeans, or dress pants, and so far have not shown any significant wear. Any scuffing they may have received along the toe area can be easily buffed out.My only complaint regarding these shoes has to do with the smooth outer bottom of the shoe. This shoe has very little tred, or grooves along the bottom to really grip the floor or ground. When walking outside where there is ice, or water on the pavement these shoes can slip, as well as on wet patches on tile floors.

I've had these shoes for several years. They were comfortable right out of the box, and they're cute.I wear them a lot, and they're in almost as good shape as when first purchased.I'd have given these shoes a five-star rating, but I'd rather have a buckle than the velcro closure. If you're really exuberant, running about in these shoes, the velcro will slip after a couple years.Bottom line: awesome shoes. I bought a similar pair of Naturalizer shoes at the same time (Mary Janes, also with velcro) that didn't last three months before the part behind the heel began folding over and coming apart.

Fart maskers, you ask? Shoes can do that, you ask? Yes indeed -- read on.I'm a high school teacher who purchased these from my husband's account. Clarks is a great brand and the shoes are very well-made. They have good support without having heels; they're very comfortable to wear all day. They look great too, in my opinion. The only thing I've noticed is that the right shoe's heel now makes a farting noise when I shift my weight back and forth. Since I frequently suffer from rectal turbulence in class and regularly seek people and things on which to blame the noise, they are actually highly effective. While teaching, I simply sneak a sphincter whistle in between the "farty shoe" sounds that my students are now used to and get away scot-free. These are definitely a wondrous pair of shoes for the frequently flatulent.

I like the shoes, they are wide like I need, A little long, If I reorder a half size smaller, they would be to short. I got the shoes to wear with dresses to church in the winter. I will keep then. I would also order again from Amazon and tell other how the shoes fix .

This shoe is very comfortable. However, it is just a tad too small. I need about a fourth of an inch more in the length and it would be perfect. It broke in very quickly. I am going to try to have it stretched to see if I can get a bit more toe room. Otherwise, this is an awesome shoe.

Attractive casual dressy shoe that looks nice with dresses or pants. Comfortable enough to walk to/from work and wear all day. They run a bit wide, so the leather gaps a bit on the inside heel as you walk. Otherwise, they run true to size. I like the slight "vintage" style of this shoe.

I usually like the Clark brand for their comfort and durability but these were tight across the top of my foot where the stitching is. I knew that I couldn't wear them at work without becoming miserable so had to return them. I don't have a high instep or arch but I do have a slightly wider foot so that could be the issue here and that is why I gave it three stars. The style is very cute, the heel is a good height for work, and the cushioning seemed 'Clark-like' quality.

These are very pretty and comfortable. The fit is perfect with plenty of toe space and the added support of a strap across the top. I was looking for something to wear with skirts or dress pants and these fill the bill! I cannot wear a higher heal anymore but these will look nice the way they are. I am Very happy with the price, having paid much more for similar Clark Women's shoes.
