Good fit, easy to install
Fit my 2010 MINI Cooper perfectly and it is a relief to have that working again, instead of the broken lid. Highly recommended. Just installed it today, so I don't know about durability yet. Very easy to install. Just pop off the old one and snap the new one in. When I first opened the package, I was a bit concerned that it did not include light bulbs, but those are actually on the visor.

Doesn't work
It attached fine, but the lid of the mirror doesn't say closed. There's quite a large gap in it, and when you put the visor down, the lid hangs open and the mirror lights stay on. If I don't shove something between the top of the lid and the roof of the car, it hangs open with the lights on all night long. I'll probably tape it closed, which totally defeats the purpose.

2009 Mini Cooper S mirror cover
Worked well and look good but they were really hard to get on and snap in and while trying to do it was unable to get the light to work again.

Easy Peasy installation!
Easy installation!!! Hubby had it on in just minutes after watching a YouTube video. Tabs broke on original mirror cover......dealer quoted $300!!!!

So Far, So Good: 2010 Cooper S
Dunno how long it will last on my 15 year old Cooper BUT at this price point I can re-order about 10x before I even begin to worry about it's value. Literally ZERO instructions but like a 1000 times before--YouTube to the rescue. JUST installed so I'm in the honeymoon phase. But no reason to think it won't hold up.
