Review: Writing this review right now with my MSI laptop - I built my laptop with this processor in it. I used an MSI barebones kit. It took a while to get the right processor. This one is a bit long in the tooth but it still performs quite well. Temps are low and it has not thrown 1 BSOD since I built it about 6 months ago. All in all very happy with this processor.

Not good, it did not work.

I built my laptop with this processor in it. I used an MSI barebones kit. It took a while to get the right processor. This one is a bit long in the tooth but it still performs quite well. this laptop runs hot so i need to find a better fan to cool the upgraded CPU off
Upgraded from a Celeron B840 to this in my HP Probook 4430s and let me say, the performance increase was dramatic. The only thing is, this laptop runs hot so i need to find a better fan to cool the upgraded CPU off. Slows down when hot. Also noticed a dramatic graphics performance increase. Went from regular HD graphics to HD 3000.

The turbo boost seems like its on more than off when doing things requiring ...
I upgraded to this i5 from same speed i3 sandy bridge. Runs snappier and surprisingly considerably cooler ! The turbo boost seems like its on more than off when doing things requiring cpu, yet I have not yet seen it even approach the temperatures the i3 would show.
