Just not a Tough Pedal
This just seems to have been made to a budget and I just don't know why. The other option if you have a Helix or Stomp is the Mission pedal - more than twice the price. I returned mine - I bought a mini Cry Baby and I'll duck out of expression with my Stomp XL. And the Cry Baby Mini has true bypass so that's dealt with that problem as well. This just doesn't look like it's going to hold up in live gigs for more than a few months and at that price that's just not good enough. Or drop the price Line 6 to something like £35?

The pedal is useless with anything but Line 6 equipment and even then ...
This pedal is poorly made and not worth anything near the price asked. You will find that you frequently have to take it apart to re-engage the internal rack and pinion because of a design fault. The pedal is useless with anything but Line 6 equipment and even then you'd be better using the M-audio alternative at 1/4 of the price. This pedal must cost about $3 to make - why the ridiculous price?

Billiges Gehäuse! Schlechte Verarbeitung! Bei einem Preis über 70€ nicht akzeptabel. Pedal hat letztens bei der Bandprobe einfach den Geist aufgegeben. Hab es nur als Volumenpedal für meine Helix benutzt, also wirklich keine Beanspruchung. Da bin ich von Line 6 besseres gewohnt. Amazon, wie kann ich hier die Gewährleistung in Anspruch nehmen?

I bought this to use with the Line 6 POD HD500. I use the built-in pedal for changing different paremeters in the POD such as the gain of an amp, wah, or changing the mix of delay as I play. I use the EX-1 as a volume pedal. It is a little stiff feeling at first, but does work fine. After using the POD HD500 with two pedals, I wouldn't want to go back to using only the built-in pedal. Using the EX-1 really does open up a new bag of tricks! The EX-1 is very much worth every penny. I easily found a new one through Amazon that was below $50. For all of the possibilities that the EX-1 unlocks, you can't beat the price.
