Christopher's Original Formulas BF and C Powder with Comfrey

I bought this product to help me recover after I had a surgery on my wrist. My splint wasn't that secure so I ended up having a lot of swelling and pain when I was recovering, but I couldn't put anything on it because it was inside of a cast which is why I got this product. I've used comfrey in the past externally so I knew that it's effective. Comfrey has a long track record of helping heal injuries and internal and external issues. It helped right away with pain reduction and I continued to take about a half a teaspoon everyday for about two weeks. I thought about getting veggie capsules but I just don't take it frequently enough to make it worth it. The taste is pretty gross, but it's actually quite easy to cover up the taste of this compared to some of the other herbal things I've tried. Because this is a powder, I found it difficult to mix with liquids because it likes to float and not mix evenly so it tends to clump up and stick to the sides of a cup. The solution actually ended up being much simpler than I anticipated: I just put the herbs directly into my mouth and quickly chased it with some kind of flavored beverage like grape juice. The taste of the fruit juice rapidly covered up any foulness from the herbs. But if you stick it in your mouth just don't move it around with your tongue- try to taste it as little as possible. This product ended up having a delightful side effect that I had not anticipated. I had been dealing with adrenal fatigue for some time and I had been taking all different kinds of adrenal support herbs to help get me to sleep through the night like a normal person. I hadn't taken any of those herbs for a while but once my cast came off the effects of having been taking this was that my sleep cycle had completely normalized. It perked up my adrenals and they are performing better than I can ever remember and I only ingested this for two weeks. I haven't had to have any since. It's too bad about the stupid FDA and their stupid ban. This is a great indigestible product. The only thing that made me sick after my surgery was the stupid opioids the doctors gave me- those pills gave me the worst constipation I've ever experienced. It was like s******* glass. They even have drugs on TV now that have been designed just to treat opioid induced constipation... And yet the FDA hasn't banned prescription drugs even though they are well aware that they kill people every day. Never mind the fact that there are very few documented cases of comfrey actually causing permanent damage to the liver and those cases are pretty extreme. So if you're concerned about 'research' about how this product can cause damage to your liver I honestly would just completely disregard it. Ask yourself this question: if your doctor prescribes you a powerful drug that will damage your liver or some other internal organ, would you still take it and sleep good at night? If your answer was 'yes' then you have absolutely nothing to fear from comfrey. It is far less likely to harm you and if you're exercising common sense when you use this than you would know better than the take this indefinitely anyway.

I am confident that by continue to take this product I will eventually be better. I sufer from muscle pains and joint swollen and tendons fell stuck to my muscles. Im a mess. I couldnt even walk last month due to my knees being so swelled up. Im still suffering shingles along with the muscle aches and pains. I take 1/4 tsp or 1/2 tablet size 00 3 times a day or when I feel the effects of the dose wearing off. I started out too high at 1 tsp twice a day and was in a healing crises by the second day. I was bedridden until this passed and then lowered the dose and feel much better. I can feel this pull at the bad spots in my body along with the black ointment strategicly placed around my body (not blood root salve) It pulls the gunk either to the stomach and intestines or to the area the ointment was applied. THen the spot dissipated. I have so many problem areas that I am just doing a little at a time. I will repost an update when i fell more improvement. I honestly believe thought that his is the best stuff ever to use for any health problem. I put a little in my 4 yr olds tea when he was sick and he was well the next morning. (less than 1/8 tsp). I was amazed. This stuff encourages your immune system to work as well as doing direct work on the cells itself. Its my new go to product when ever anyone in my family is ill. Great to mix in a shake or a smoothie if you do not have capsules to use. ALso great to take with cinnamon capsules can be bought anywhere; to encourage more heat and healing in the tissues.

I have used Dr. Christopher's BF&C Powder with Comfrey in Size 0 vegetable capsules for many years, probably 6 or 7. Bumping 60 and very active in resent years this product has helped me through many injuries or maybe better helped me from not getting broken as badly as I might have. Crashed my Harley in a curve- no broken bones, Fell 9 or 10 feet off a walk board while painting our house. Not to say I was not hurting and sore, just not broken :) This products helps maintain my skeletal structure more than one knows. About 3 or 4 months ago for whatever reason, I got out of the habit of taking my BF and C Powder with Comfrey capsules- 3 each morning, I felt no different for some time but then my knees started to ache. Then they started to hurt when I would squatted. Panicking I started back with my Christopher's Original Formulas BF and C Powder with Comfrey capsules doubling my intake with 3 morning and night for a month. Now I am back to 3 every morning and all is well no pain in my knees or anywhere else. I hope this lengthy reviews help to in spire you to try Christopher's Original Formulas BF and C Powder with Comfrey. It really helps me not hurt. The Comfrey ingredient in this formulas I think is essential. Just remember this is not a miracle drug. You will not see any improvement over night. This product works over time rebuilding your cells. It took probably a month for my knees to stop hurting BUT they did stop hurting and have not hurt since. Its a great product and thanks to the other reviewers it actually can be ingested yea it also works ok the story on comfrey is some guy took mega doses of it that had a pre existing liver problem yea not to smart he lived but needed medical attention and it was medically documented keep in mind he already had a pre existing liver desease so the comfrey didnt cause the liver damage so if your liver is ok you should be ok I have taken a tble spoon daily and my blood work is ok for my liver I am a stage4 chemo survivor thanks to my surgeon im still alive.

I had shoulder joint pain for over a year. I took some time off from my physically demanding job so I could rest and heal naturally. After a year I still had pain so I started using BFC formula. My shoulder healed perfectly after just 1 month of use (1/2 tsp, 3x/day)!!! Word of caution though! Long-term use is not wise. Thinking that 'more is better' because this formula worked so well, I continued to take BFC beyond my healing. I developed neck pains out of this world. Both sides of the my neck started hurting, gradually increasing in intensity, everyday...throbbing and pulsing, but I didn't attribute it to BFC at first. Neck pain got so bad, one morning I woke up and couldn't move my head without severe crippling pain. I considered what I might have been doing to bring this on myself, but came up with nothing. The only thing new I'd been doing was BFC 3 times a day. I stopped the dosing all together and after 3 days my neck pain gradually subsided and went away completely. Seems this formula is to be taken as needed only, and not for long-term maintenance needs. There's no instructions on the packaging on how to use it. I've called the Dr Christopher's home office for info, but they don't answer their phones or email, so basically I had to figure it out on my own with trial and error. Though there's little scientific research available for herbs, and mostly traditional folk use information (which is also difficult to find) I do trust the effectiveness and general low to no toxicity of most herbs, and prefer to use herbs first when I can. I also acknowledge that herbs are chemicals just like any man-made drug, hence the use of herbs may come with negative side effects form time to time. Herbs are "natural" but that does not mean they're 100% safe...especially with long-term, excessive use.

I broke my tailbone in 3 places after a fall from a horse. For a solid year, I was miserable. Could hardly sit. And if I changed positions or sat very long, my pain got worse. Then when I would try to stand after sitting I got horrible pain. This happened continually for a year plus. I simply had no improvement after the first 3 weeks after accident. Then I got this Dr Christophers Complete Bone and Tissue formula with comfrey and capsulated it. Then I took 12 pills every day for a month and a half and all my tailbone pain went away. I horseback ride again now and I can sit and stand. Love this product. Oh, and my knee pain went away.

I would recommend this powdered form BF&C to those with any joint pain from injury or a degenerative condition, foot pain, or pain caused by arthritis. As to how to administer, I did my research, since 'how to take this product' is not listed: Manufacture a tincture from gain alcohol ( I used EverClear 190 proof) Steep in 12OZ mason jar (sterilize all jars and utensils first), mix in with 4OZ of Christopher's formula powder, let steep for 2 weeks, shake the jar every day at least twice since mixture separates quickly. Strain through muslin cloth into stainless container. Funnel into 1OZ medical droppers (amber color) bottles. Store in cool dark place. Start with 1 eyedropper in AM (orally) chase with water or other liquid (taste takes getting used to). Then as needed another dropper before bedtime. I have some painful inoperable, non-life threatening conditions from athletics, and with-in two weeks the results are miracle like. This may not work for everyone but sure worth a try.
